And what is the fucking point of being able to setup Adobe Libraries with all my clients colour palette when you cant use it in After effects!

    Draw bow,
    Select colour fill,
Select client blue from library, select client blue from library, select client blue from library, select client blue from library, select client blue from library,
    No

    • Works for me. In Illy, make a simple square with fill of client colour - add fill to library. In AE, anything, eg Solid colour, Shape Layer colour, fx...shapesalad
    • ...selected the colour property of the thing, get the eyedropper up, select colour from library.shapesalad
    • (make sure library panel + colours are visible before you get into the eyedropper thing)shapesalad
    • You've got to drill into the colour property of what ever it is you're doing, double click, then eyedropper to library colour.shapesalad

I don't know if I found this here, but given two sentence prompts and a few keywords to include, it has been preparing google friendly filler copy all morning.

The more you let it know and work from, the better it does. I would consider it something of a summary generator.

I only have about 3 hours with it, so don't take my review as fact.

    • And will drive signal to noise through the fucking roof, as it is so cheap and so good as to outcompete humans by orders of magnitude.monNom
    • Good enough and cheap always steals market share from expensive and accurate. And the user is not the one who bears the direct cost. It’s foisted on the commonsmonNom
    • So it will be used, and then must be used to compete with those who use it, and then will produce excess information at a geometrically increasing rate.monNom
    • And that excess information is credible looking NONSENSE. There’s no thought behind it. It’s a probability function. And eventually it will eat it’s own outputmonNom

"Finished" (they're still sending the last bits of content next monday, but I've delivered my work on time, a big miracle, believe me) the most stressfull, chaotic and poorly planned project in my career (in 25 years).

This last 9 months had been a total madness, and now I'm totally wasted, tired and burnt.

I should stop and take a vacation, but with this chaos, I have a mountain of work waiting...

Thanks to the fact that during Holy Week I can stop for five days, otherwise it would be terrible until summer vacations.

The magic life of the freelancer, ha!!

Enjoy the weekend locos, love and peace!!

    • Well done mate.shapesalad

Tried Ukrainian food for the first time today at a fundraiser. Unfortunately not enough people came and so the kind Ukrainian babushkas sent me home with a tonne of calorific foods. A shame not more people came.

Juul just discontinued its mint flavor, after discontinuing all its other flavors (except “tobacco”) several months back.

Kind of a weird case of a product being too successful.

It’s now funny to me that I used to think it was possible to become a famous photographer. Even into my 30s, I thought this was a possibility. Not merely successful, but actually to become famous for it (in the 21st century.)

Not possible. Don’t believe me? Ask an “average” person to name one photographer.

Sorry to offend but I know quite a few people who are like a 3/10 and not very attractive. They find themselves in relationships with relative ease but their partners are also 3/10s.

They appear to be madly in love and post on facebook the usual cringey 'Boy done good' and 'Dinner with this one'. I'm assuming they're very attracted to their partners but I'm not really sure how.

    1. do ugly people think they are themselves attractive
    2. do ugly people know they're ugly and so know they have to lower their standards. but do these people actually fancy their not so attractive partners?
    3. do ugly people have a slightly warped (from society's ideal) and wide vision of what is attractive. are they less narrow minded and see beauty wider than what society prefers?
    4. are ugly people just less shallow and value personality more?
    5. does anyone here think they are genuinely ugly?

Some of the people I know will have crushes on attractive celebrities so I know they have some taste, but then when it comes to partners in real life they're not attractive.

I know beauty is subjective but sometimes there is a line. Also I know ugly is a strong word but it's just to keep things simple. I basically mean people who are considerably below average. I know some people will find e.g Jack really attractive and others would say he's average. But I'm talking about the people who generally most people would say they're much below average.

    This POTD got me thinking:

I don' always hit the floor whilst in the club (which itself happens once in a blue moon) but when I do, occationaly a female comes up and busts this move on me, the slight grinding of her behind towards my middle region. Being a 43 yo white dude with limited dance skills, my reaction probably look something like this.

My experience however, is that if I were to put a hand on say her waist or something, like the dude in the picture, the dance party is over and the lady twirls away to her next behind-grinding subject. I enjoy cutting a rug solo, and mostly I'm relieved to see her go.

But I still wonder what I'm doing wrong here? In my mind, the above move is a sort of invitation, but I may be way off. How should I recieve said move? Pretending like nothiing? Hands-free counter-grinding? From my observation, the amount of sweat in my palms are generally lower than that of the females body, so I don't think having nasty hands is part of the problem.

    • From my own experience:
In my 20s: grind, move to the hips, move to the cooch
In my 30s: grind, move to the the hips, move to crib
      palimpsest
