consciousness:
the state of being awake and aware of one's surroundings.but don't get technical - this word is literally for interpretation. i recently learned that apparently being conscious could be as simple/silly as just being aware that you have things around you (surroundings).
i always thought it meant like a 'higher level of thought' or a 'higher frequency' associated with 'compassion' and 'tolerance' thus resulting in 'balance'- but it's not. it literally means nothing at all - to be aware of your surroundings doesn't mean anything - you could still be aware of your surrounding yet still not give a fuck about these particular surroundings
'consciousness' in no way implies a moral relationship with your surroundings - it just means you're 'aware' of your surroundings.
