I feel ashamed and bad about what I did today. I got physical with one of my co workers (copy writer) and shoved him into the wall because I was so pissed.

He sent me incomplete texts for a treatment and all I asked him in the chat was if I shall copy the same text to a few different ideas. It didn't make sense because the visual ideas where all a bit different.

He got impatient and replied in a very arrogant manner and the came over to me and started belittling me in front of the whole team. So I flipped, stood up to him, told him fuck off and shoved him.

We usually get along well, joke around and send memes to each other but I think the bridge is burned now even though we talked it out and he acknowledged that the treatment needed different texts.

Still I feel bad because I'm not the aggressive type and my other co workers saw me in this dumb moment flipping out on him.

Have you ever had such an incident at work?

    • Physical, ever.

    • That's how it sounds to me anyways... I mean, you're not generally walking around shoving people, right? Just this guy? just this time?monNom
    • You need to put yourself in a position where it's not going to happen again. For your sake.monNom

I knew this day would finally come!

I've got 2 kids...21 and 19. Both live at home. My 21 year old daughter is moving out in a few days to live with her partner...and I'm incredibly sad.

I'm not one of those parents that wants their kids out as quickly as possible...I just love having them around. Fills me with happiness...and the thought of an empty house...well it just makes me sad.

I know it's an exciting time for her...and I'm putting on a happy front...and I know it's all just the circle of life and all that.

    But... :(

Off the back of Busterboy's post above - I recently rekindled contact with a friend from home who moved back from London a few years back. She brought me up to speed with some of the old gang who I've not seen in over twenty years and, My! how much has absolutely not changed for them at all: Three of them are still living with their folks - we're not that far off fifty! wtf?

I only do this once a year (as it is only on once a year) but have done the last 2 and if you are in London next weekend is a must visit. Not just because I will have a stall there with loads of nice records (the ones I don't want but that doesn't mean they're crap) but lots of TV, film, pop stars come along too. It's kinda hipster central for sure but I like the vibes, the food is good and I usually sell well as I save my good stuff especially through the year for it.
If you can come and want to try and find me I will be giving away an exclusive very limited edition mix CD to anyone who winks and says "QBN".

I've been on QBN since 2006 (Newstoday massive whaddup). Still, there still seems to be so much deep QBN lore and drama I have no idea about.
