My eccentric coworker unfollowed me on Instagram.

She's a bit bipolar and I talked her through her dark quarantine times but then she started texting me a lot and I was hesistant to interact and be seen talking to her. She got mad at me for not being friendly enough.

    • oh shit! that bad? you got unfollowed?! make sure you lock your doors and windows.pango

A friend has been unemployed and struggling financially with a few small freelance gigs since March.

Yet he refuses to get a day job and is holding out for his dream job and complains to me about how mediocre the companies he's applied to positions with through indeed are.

He's frustrated and getting a high-paying job is worth the wait, but I think he'd be happier if he just got a job at the cafe down the street that he likes so much.

A brand new book about the music scene in my old hometown Milton Keynes has just been published. There are lots of great stories about the bands and gigs and DJ's that have played a part in it's musical history - much bigger than you might imagine.
I'm chuffed to bits to see I have been given a whole page!

Ok, I'm getting really tired, bored, with our, lockdown, limited to near-our-house, friends or social circle.

My wife's friends, the women, never come to take beers with us, and I always end with my wife and a widower, a separated, a divorced and two gay men who do not come out of the closet.

I am a good host and I love to party, but... It's too much testosterone in a room, LOL!!

I left Bmore around 2003, have only lived in a city with snow once since and only during a year. Last time I saw snow was a freak snow day in southernish France in 2011. Today was a great day in Prague, we only got about about 2cm but it was enough amusement on the way to school.
It reminded me of the days when we went down a hill inside a heavy duty trashbag. We also loved to get padded up and take the bikes out and skid on the ice until we hit something.
It was like playing a video game, you had infinite lives!
