Who else has cursor speed set at maximum?
- nope thread!moldero
- maybe its a mac thing, on my PC that would be crazymoldero
- I have it scaled up in size so I can see it. Signs you're Getting Old...shapesalad
- Im on PCdrgs
- maximum on mac for sure, plus a razer lancehead mouse with the dpi button so i can jack it up even faster lolmantrakid
- Psychopathsscarabin
- Let me rephrase: to move the cursor from edge to edge (horizontally), do you move your wrist, or can you do it only with your fingersdrgs
- I can adjust the dpi on my mouse on the fly so I use that to slow things down or speed them up.zarkonite

Scanning the papers earlier and clicked on this...

...very first photo is of a village I used to drive up to to buy hashish from. made me feel a little homesick.
Very pretty place to have a smoke. The road back is not a lovely one if you get too wrecked though. Fucking windy and filled with tree goats leaping around.
- The road is winding. not windy.
although it can also get windy up there.Nairn - windly road ;)renderedred

- Building materials aren't cheap like past decades, should've explored adaptive re-use of the space, and worked with the existing structure. Demolition is pricey********
- nah, the building was practically temoporary in nature - probbaly asbestos filled. Look at the remnants here - there's fuck all of value in the structure.Nairn
- Gov't probably made £10+Mil on a much-needed space. Which they'll spunk on bribing idiot voters because home is corrupt as fuck.Nairn

They're there for a reason.

My high school year level created a Facebook group for us to keep in touch. Has been really good for the most part. But post virus and with Trump in office, there has been soooo much garbage posted. Virus conspiracies, 5G BS...you name it.
So last week I muted about 10 members of the group...and I feel liberated.
I keep up with a lot of family on FB...that's the only reason I don't delete it completely.

- convenience fees are the devil in disguise. I loath them, 90% of the reason I don't go to concerts anymore. $25 ticket turns into $37.50 after fees.capn_ron
- buy at the box office fee freeimbecile
- Can't pay by cheque? I'll bet cheque + stamp costs less than $3.50zarkonite
- Write three cheques for $1 each, it will cost them more to deposit than the outstanding balancespot13
- no such thing as box office at most venues. or they just add the fee there. complete racket.capn_ron
- that'll be your little secret i guess. i can't think of a venue i've been to that doesn't have a box office. even red rocks amphitheatre has a box officeimbecile
- have you bought tickets from these box offices? only asking because last show i went and they added a service fee at a venue here in my town.capn_ron

Was in tears this morning when I saw a long-term client of mine died of cancer aged 58.
I saw it on Facebook and the most featured photo of him is when he holds my book in the camera and says how much he loves it.
This made me sad and I couldn’t hold back my tears.
- Sorry to hear it Simon. Hope you're feeling those memories today, remembering all the good times.Ianbolton

Okay, so I watched that video of those two guys walking around trying to give out face masks yesterday and I've come to the conclusion that the problem mainly boils down to a condition called.... wait for it.... "Deathboy Condition".
It's a purely made up condition in which the arrogance of a nation transpires all the way down to the concentrated arrogance of the individual in which no kind of rational or compassionate understanding for the wellbeing of others comes naturally. It's like "no, no, no, you're all wrong, it's 'insert OPINION here'". I suppose it's kind of understandable when you have a man of such little competence at the helm of what is supposed to be the greatest country on the planet. But hey ho, we have Boris over here. At least he can string a sentence together, but what that's supposed to mean I'm not sure either.
Keep spreading the love guys!

My Grandfather is in hospital with Covid 19, he's 98.
It's been a rollercoaster of a ride for the last 10days. Confusion, panic and despair have all reared their ugly heads since we called the ambulance last week.
He's been put on IV drips of antibiotics and the appropriate drugs and steroids and is improving daily. The doctors are saying that he will make a full, but slow recovery and is likely to be allowed back to his home next week.
It's an odd illness, he has been tested for Covid four times and not once has it been positive. Turns out, you can only test positive for a limited number of days during the incubation period. The only certain way of establishing that it is Covid is the appearance of chest x-rays once you are in the grips of the disease.
As he was vulnerable, we kept him completely isolated from unnecessary human interactions and always wore masks when we visited to deliver shopping. We cannot fathom when or where he picked it up. He had few visitors and they were always masked. We are rapidly coming to the conclusion that he picked it up from a delivery he had.
All things considered it's looking very positive for him. We're lucky, the doctors and nurses and NHS in general have been outstanding and it's not cost us one penny.
Take the best care of your crew and look after yourselves people, this is some serious shit.
- Wow 98, he is one tough cookie. I hope that he pulls through!utopian
- I remember seeing a 95 year old recover early on in Italy, so hopefully they've got better at treating it by now. Good luck to him and your family.PhanLo

A boy in my son's class at school has tested positive. Which I suppose will mean my son, wife, daughter and me will probably need to quarantine. Far out...
The boy that tested positive is an absolute ratbag and the son of one of Australia's most notorious criminals.

Noticing that clips posted on news station YouTube channels gets spammed with an overwhelming about of downvotes. Not cnn or fox, but just local tv stations here in Australia. Basic reporting of the news. Doesn't matter what it is about, instant parade of dislikes.
Do wonder what interests groups are behind it.... and what foreign powers are out there fuelling such a groundswell of distrust towards our democratic press. It's eroding any sense of normal public discourse as we live more and more in the belly of an ugly alt-fact post-truth world.

reading up on that GPT-3 new network, pretty interesting stuff, but scary too
it could basically generate a new QBN on the fly with better stories we might post in blog and even crazier replies and notes from the likes of deathboy and others
there's also this thing https://commoncrawl.org/ that I bet it already crawled all info on QBN and can feed the data into any network like GPT-3 to output new versions of anything QBN related lol
anyway, some articles on the topic:
