I just spent three hours trying to figure out why I couldn't get an SVG to stretch to fit a CSS grid. All the top results I read are about people trying to avoid stretching the aspect ratio, I was trying to make it stretch.
Did you know? SVG needs to be forced with
preserveAspectRatio="none"! Geez.

We're getting our connection swapped over to Fibre Optic next week, which requires a new router. Now on the third attempt at having one sent - first had delivery attempted but no 'we missed you' card, so I was none the wiser and it was sent back. Second has been sat in a depot in cetral London for two weeks now.I've been assured they simply won't turn our copper connection off, but given how this has gone so far and how long its been going on for (2 months?) I suspect I'll suddenly be cut o----

Are Art Directors in agencies also designers?
Can someone be hired to be an art director because they're good at concepting and pitching but don't know how to design editorials or logos well?

Friend of mine started a business. I was excited and offered to design the logo for free / trade because there will definitely be things I want from them in the future that won't cost them a lot.
Sent my proposal, was happy with my ideas.
A week later he tells me his parter's other friend whipped something up and he is all set on it.
Now they have a terrible logo that his partner is happy with and my friend is oblivious and I'm bitter.
The design is ugly and mine was much better.
