Where are cname records located? I need to update the cname records for an email automation thing.

    Hosting: wpengine
    Domain: GoDaddy
    And they are using cloudfare?

Mxtoolbix says cloud faire, is that right? I always thought it was with hosting?

    • if the dns records point to wpengine: than located at host level if not than located at domain level (godaddy)hotroddy
    • use this to determine https://mxtoolbox.co…hotroddy
    • do a whois on the domain, it will show you nameservers
      ********
    • but must be wpengine, as they are hosting, you can't have hosting without changing nameservers to point to it
      ********
    • cloudflare is just for load balancing assets, proxy, etc.
      ********
    • Mxtoolbox says cloudfare that's what's confusing me, GoDaddy has a DNS pointing to cloudfare tooHayoth
    • https://whois.domain… looks for ns1 ns2 ns3 use those
      ********
    • Godaddy ns points your shit to Wpengine so change your cname shit at Wpenginemoldero
    • @grafician cloudflare can manage domains properties like cname records.
goto the domains dns settings in your cf acc and see whats up there
      ********
    • like i got this for a simple www address: https://i.imgur.com/…
      ********
    • Thanks. I am trying. Client doesn't have login to cloudfare or wpengineHayoth
