Eg. Ask Kanye how much he makes in a year and pay him that salary not to make music or talk in TV. Or Peirs Morgan not to appear on TV or twitter again.

The Royals otherwise are good for brand, good for business and are a far lot less costly than other wings of soft diplomacy, so I think it's 'good' we've got Maj, Charlie and the Two sons to play diplomat on a level many countries don't have access to.

Finally downgraded Adobe CC from full plan to Photography plan. I really only use PS and LR CC and Classic. Saves me $500-ish a year. I wish I'd done this sooner. I've got full CC on my work computer; if I ever need to use something else I can use that computer.

- On my iMac, I use Classic to fully manage EVERYTHING, going back to photos from 2009. I sync new or regularly used albums to LR CC.mg33
- It's a great workflow, perfect even. MBP, iPad, and phone all have LR CC.mg33
- However, the two issues are: Discrepancy between Collections and Folders/Albums, and presets don't sync between the two.mg33
- But overall it's great. Love having the choice between going to my basement to use iMac and Classic, or being upstairs using MBP and CC. It's great.mg33

Yesterday I was in an informal talk on one of these ‹let's-hang-out-and-drink-beer› kind of networking events about recruitment.
And it was depressing.
We all know recruitment is really broken, specially when there is any kind of middle person involved. But people working on recruitment were just joking about not reading anything outside the resume — no cover letter, motivation letter, or anything — using automation to find keywords on the resume and rejecting in bulk by the amount of keywords, and how the software is unable to read documents with more than one page or even using more than one column of text.
And these people get paid to do that?
Also the all narrative that you should create a character, and always be ready and upbeat — that also was a mirror in front of most of the audience — is very sad. Like trying to live the fake life of a social media persona 24/7.
Ironically enough one of the talks mentioned the concept of belonging. Well, I don't think I belong anymore.
