Idiot-luddit post ahoy:
I have an iPhone (6s?) I use as my main phone - I want to play MP3s on it, copied across manually.
Do I need to go through iTunes? I'd rather not. I just want some mobile VLC-like app I can play things with simply and stupidly.

- May seem a bit odd, but I use this app;
https://collect.bywe…Gnash - I do have iTunes but I use collect for all my Greek hillbilly music.Gnash
- You can also do this with the Dropbox appGnash
- I use the collect app for other stuff, I realized I could use it for music by accidentGnash

- Was going to say Dropbox too, my phone is even more ancient. Hadn't even heard of Collect, I'll look that up. :-)PhanLo

- load on dropbox on desktop, download dropbox app from the apple store, go into dropbox mobile, "make available for offline use", listen, play********
- Android?
;)OBBTKN - Android. Note 8 and Tab s6. Perfect combo.********
- So I literally cannot simply copy files over by hand and just play them in an app? And there was me thinking I was being a dunce.Nairn
