One of my housemates refuses to be vaccinated.
It's her right whatever I might think.
I would prefer not to live with someone who thinks like her.
She says pretty absurdities without being an anti-vaxx paranoid.One of the worst and I almost lost my cool was:
I'm scared that people like me who refuse to use a mask or be vaccinated will be discriminated like the Jews were.
Reminder, I live in Germany and she's German.
She's also supposedly left wing.She's a trained nurse and could be vaccinating people but doesn't want to.
Now another housemate told me that because the first one is not vaccinated I have to be extra careful with Corona...

Welp. Pretty sure my entire house has it right now.
My youngest son tested positive on Thursday. I'm nearly certain he got it at his preschool. They wear masks there, and we send him fully knowing the risks.
We thought about trying to keep him isolated from his older brother, but it seemed pretty pointless because they normally share a room and are pretty inseparable after all they've been through together with this pandemic.
So here we are, full on quarantine with a 4-year-old and 7-year-old. Wish us luck!

I've been doing these Covid-recovery breathing exercises from JHU for the past day or two and it's making a huge difference. Still winded while talking sometimes, and then a cough.
But it's only been one day of these exercises so I'm feeling pretty optimistic.

TOKYO (Reuters) - Japanese trading and pharmaceutical company Kowa Co Ltd said on Monday anti-parasite drug ivermectin has been found effective for treating the Omicron variant of COVID-19 in a Phase III trial.
The trial found ivermectin has “an antiviral effect” against the variant, Kowa said without providing further details. The firm has been working with Kitasato University, a medical university in Tokyo.
Clinical trials evaluating the drug, which is used to treat parasites in animals and humans, are ongoing but promotion of the drug as a COVID-19 treatment has generated controversy.
The drug is not approved for treatment of COVID-19 in Japan and the U.S. Federal Drug Administration has repeatedly warned against its use.
