i wouldn't use the sticker peel effect , what's the idea behind that?
the other one looks to generic and the cube and circle combined looks awkward. I like the vag rounded typeface but you have to customize it more so it becomes a solid word mark.
try also to bring in an abstract concept of what they do.

circle too big in relation to type inside it

Rybo,
you have to be a bit more critical before you send stuff out.
But believe me, this is a common design error, wich in fact i also still suffer from in way.
- Question your concept (luckily a concept can be very simple, i like it simple).
- look at the visual language, does this stand out, does the typography work, am i following some basic rules.
- implement it on various media, print it out, make corrections...than put in on QBN.

i'm going to have a bit more conviction in myself and my design im going to stick with the circle and make it the best i can
- no one said you couldn't use the circle, but you need to expand the concept more.7point34
- just putting type in a circle is not a concept. in fact, it's not even difficult7point34
- im not making out it took me ages and it was diffecult, i will continue with the circle and inject some concept into it.********

How are you going to sell it into the client?

The sticker idea is putting your solution on a problem a client would come to you with. putting your mark, using your branding mark.
Think of it a acceptance. place it on everything you do.you could get actual stickers printed and place then on the top of a letter so each would be unqiue (someones surgestion) place them on envelops.
its not web2.0 or cliparty like all the competetors.
- Surely this is more of a device than a concept? As everyone else has suggested, it needs more thought!phatlee

I have no problem with that concept, but now make it visually more yours. Make it stand out & test this concept out, see how it works...

i am being as helpful as possible here.
the sticker concept, especially paired with avant garde looks incredibly trendy and cliché. there' s little you can do about that. your concept seems to be well thought out, but unfortunatly most people will not get it and you don't have the time to explain it toeveryone.
if that's really the direction you want to go then, by all means expand it and play with it. maybe try a stamp? a bandage? patch? try a different font also... you will find that your present choice is going to promote a trendy look, but not in a good way i'm afraid. looks very MTV right now. if you decide that is the font you want, figure out why? what does that font say to you? bold? geometric? would a serif be better? seems more stable no? also play with the font and tweak/customize it. make it unique. like they have no competition. may be hard with avant garde as it is a popular font.

do you actually have any other ideas?
It seems you have gone with your first and that's it.... design, conceptualise, experiment.
my 2 cents

have you seen black&decker?
they can help you. And not for go to the jail...

i think the logo on the biz card should be smaller. letterhead looks good.

dude when someone mentioned the sticker earlier.. it was as an application of the logo NOT as a brand device..
try thinking of a reason..for actually having a sticker. i see NO relation between it consultants.. and a sticker. thats not what they do! they dont go around branding stuff (thats what you do) they also dont go arround 'accepting people' in anything..
they fix consult and advise you it solutions. (which means that the square peg round hole analogy is disturbingly wrong)
its basically saying... "fuck it we dont know what we're doing so we'll think of something and try and jam it in your business any way we - even if it doesnt fit.." - doesnt sound like i want to do business with them.
think - puzzles, keyboards, on-lights, geeks, binary, cables, jacks, connections, growth, think of things that represent IT in general
then think what akes them - THEM. are they tongue in cheek? are they dead serious? figure out what they got to offer.. look at things like The Geek Squad. (super awesome branding - NOT trendy!)
you are basically defending your 'baby' because you've been looking at it for too long!
making something that looks exactly like something else so it blends in ISNT the point! the point is to make something that doesnt blend in (and that it stands out for the right reasons)
i think my advice to you is at this stage.. dont think shapes & typefaces (let alone letterheads and business cards)
think concept, give yourself room to be able to expand on it afterwards. instead of jut stamping the logo on everything.
think like.. if the logo was a cable. different b'cards could have different jacks, or different colour cables for different sections on websites..
if the logo was an on-light - could you make it out of heat sensitive paper so it turned on when you pressed it? (but also think about what the on-light - and the jack actually represent in terms of IT)just step away from potatoshop and get back on to pen and paper..
and if you post another picture within a week i will bitchslap you

Minimal is good, but at this point there's nothing to give it any kind of unique sense of identity. It could be IT consultants, a nightclub, a rock star, etc. - I get no sense of the company by looking at it.
If the concept isn't clear to any of us, then you should probably try something else. Try thinking up a few completely different concepts - based on an idea of what the company is/ does - and then implement them graphically. Don't get too hung up on one approach or idea.
