Fuck sake! Had some cash up to buy a car, now it's pretty much going to get wiped out thanks to work needed on roof, garden to be finished and building work. Was just going to trade current car in and pay cash for the remaining full wack.
Now I'm considering doing one of those schemes where you pay a fixed amount for a new car each month, do it for 3 years, then either pay the difference to own it or just switch up for a new one and start the scheme again.
Anyone here do this type of scheme? Talk me in/out of it.
You could be talking like £4-500 a month so up to £6k a year. Which is the kind of depreciation you'd get on a new car over 3 years but certainly not the kind of money you'd be pissing away buying a used car that was like 3 years old and still had warranty.Or can just do finance to break down the cash amount difference from my trade in. But it's like 12% interest. So on 10k it's £1200 extra!

Today an old backup disk of mine crashed. Data was from 2015, so not on my computer or raid backup anymore.
Luckily I have a fourth backup at my bank in a safe. I wasn’t sure if I would find this specific set of images but luckily the hard disks in my safe were all labeled.
Data saved and copied to my laptop from inside the safe room.

It's a normal thing being an 'average joe' watching / listening / judging people who are in the spotlight (we all sit and do it daily). It's not everyday though that you see someone you know be one of those people in said spotlight being judged.
I'm feeling bad for a childhood friend (sorta... she did put herself out there). But still... it sucks to see a person achieve so much then have the media demolish / eat her alive from every angle.

Asking because my grandmother was a typist, using the old ribbon type writers, when she was in her 70s/80s her index finger started to deform at the joints.
I dread to think what my fingers will look like when I'm 70. I estimate I have left mouse button clicked at least 1m times so far in my life.

Found my old PSP, an original 1001 model i never used because i was in school and couldn’t afford games. Hacked it and installed 50+ PSP and PSX titles. Then it bricks mid-game. No power, nothin’. FUCK.
I spent HOURS today learning how to make a “magic memory stick” and “pandora battery” in order to unbrick the thing before i plugged it in and found it just needed a charge. Man i overcomplicate things sometimes.
Anyway, now i have an entire console’s library to explore. WOOHOO!

Was in emergency tonight. Have had what felt like mini heart attacks all week which I put off as heart burn. Anyway, all tests came back fine, and most likely is anxiety. Fucking anxiety. I mean, be nice if my body just let me be stressed instead of making it feel like I'm dying.
