The toilet is in the hallway right before the bathroom, which is the first room after the front door of the house.
Today while I was working on outsourcing a nice morning shit in the company of my phone and a coffee my partner arrived.
Told him to get inside, and wait a few minutes because I just started the show.
He was so quiet that I had to ask whats up to make sure that he is still alive and moved his ass to the living-room :)
Finished the task and started pulling myself together to go out, and wash my hands when I noticed that my pants missing its belt.
While I went out with my hands full, it was fully open and slid down to my knees which I tried to compensate with the most idiotic walking.
At the second I went out laughter came from two directions. My partner who was in the living-room, had his two kids standing at the front door in complete silence. I didn't know where to escape, which made them laugh even more, and I got a nice comment from his 16 year old boy that now he understands why I'm not married.

Anyone here have a permanent bottom retainer on your bottom front teeth? I've had one since I was 14, 42 now, and it finally broke off on one side. It wasn't that much of a bother until it snagged on my tooth brush last night and bent inward a little, can already feel my tongue getting irritated from it.
The LAST place I want to go is to a dentist office and get someone else's fingers in my mouth and their face close to mine. I can't decide whether or not I want to fix it with some kind of epoxy, or just yank the whole thing out. I'm afraid of it braking off partially on the other side and there being this pointy piece of metal that I can't move and that pokes my tongue.

My department has been cut recently (no link to covid) and that mean the job I've been doing for almost 20 years now will be over in 2 weeks.
That's a huge change for the anxious person that I am. The positive side is that i work for a government agency and we have a union, so they have to try to find me another job within the company. I have a test to do next week to become a graphic designer. Iam super nervous.
