I have very few hard-line policies in life.
One that I do is - never mix different types of sock. I'm not talking colour or style or whatever, I'm talking different fucking sock types.
Today is the first time I think I've ever broken this rule (at least, literally, in 20 years) because I thought 'fuckit, why not?'.
No.
I now realise why not. All afternoon I've had my socks pulling at different heights, and different tensions as they work to do their thing around my calves.
It's driving me nuts.
Never mix sock types.
Never.
