Sorry if this has been answered before, but does anybody know why he died? Some illness or accident?

I can't find anything to what may have happened anywhere, does anyone know anything? I literally just got done crying right now. I know he was pretty vocal here about a certain country, was any of that reflected in his art?

Brian's Funeral is at 12pm 18th June at Mortonhall crematorium 30B Howdenhall Road, Edinburgh, EH16 6TX.
as you can imagine there will be a lot of people there, but all are welcome to join.
