Ukit, where are you so obsessed with labels? Your whole argument base is Republican vs Democrat.

Really shows your narrow mindedness and lack of drive to research both sides of an issue. You just like being spoon fed through your TV.

capitalism is simply a free trade system based on voluntary consent. tie that in with a limited government authority to protect peoples individual liberties and you have the idea. its a system that equalizes things as naturally as possible (however im still wish the settlers could get over slavery when understanding so much, guess thats jsut social conditioning for ya) however freedom and peace doesn't always last compared to other types of governments that control finacning and calls the shot in what or who to sacrifice to gain an edge and do it all in the name of the greater good. some peopel realized that. those that pushed for a federal bank amongst so many other laws that could slightly tip the favor and unequalize people for greater good or just personal gains. and then slowly we get corporatism the next best thing when owning the military and killing and slaughtering own people is so outdated. corporatism/facism. Its a combo of of greedy vps and ceos tied in with gov officials. Its a team sport. People always seem to forget that and just blame anyone rich or owns a business. Stereotyping while ignoring that none of that is possible at all without the lawmakers. The most guilty are the lawmakers since they act as the parent or guardian. If a kid asks a parent to get crunk and the parent says ok we blame the parent. but in politics we blame the kid. Peopel got get rid of this team mentality spoon fed shit and apply some critical thoguht sometimes. Its terrible to think that peopel associate capitalism with negativity while complaining about equality. Those people have no idea what theyre talking about. Just repeating talking heads. Capitalism with limited government as i can see is the best way to maintain individual rights (equality where it counts), vs all other types of governments. And i mean rights, not liek rights liek healthcare is a right, a right doesnt mean the sacrifice of another person time or ability for you. Or right to a job.Basically any and all of fdr's democratic rights. And yes it generally means survival of the fittest but not in i club you to death situation, more like a remora and shark situation . A remora will never be able to beat a shark but they live amongst each other. genetic ability is not suppose to be equal. capitalism +limited government to protect rights is the evolved method of survival of the fittest. of course for those who buy into that movie shit likely dont have any ability to understand or comprehend and probably dont try becasue it takes effort, to get what im saying. but hey heres with OBAMA liek hope that you will make an effort that you will think. nothing wrong with hope, but i wont place to much value in it.

and thats that in soundbyte. which unfortunatley is what our culture is reduced too, but at least it also works as a screen for real talent. fuck facebook and twitter....qbn eh

Maybe this an issue of correlation vs causation, but I assume AI is/will compensate (and more) decreasing fertility rates

    • AI probably can create an economy of abundance and fair distribution around the planet. Question is, how long will it take for the ones at power to allow it.uan
    • best scenario I can think of is they allow it without intent while trying to push their own gains. then Ai takes over without them able to stop it.uan
    • With AI you mean machines producing?rabattski
    • I would like that to happen, but that assumes AI will hold higher values than us, after we created it. Yes it can evolve, but history shows many case of...sofas
    • the underdog becoming an oppressor the moment it can, think Jews and Palestinians, violent Afro-Americans, feminism, LGBTQ politicly correct lobby etc.sofas
    • Dude, the world would be a much nicer and more peaceful place if we would be "oppressed" by the LGBTQ community. What drugs are you on btw?rabattski
    • @rabattski I mean producing, managing, servicing etc.sofas
    • Ok. But you need people to buy and consume whatever they produce. If not then there's nothing to produce i.e. they become redundant / economical inefficient.rabattski
    • I tend to believe that for the ultra influentials capital means power and control and not mere money which is mostly bits. Hence consumerism isn't a must.sofas
    • But you still need a work force to mine natural resources, discipline existing intelligence (be it human/ animal or AI), cater the ultra influentials etc.sofas
    • In a historical context maybe this isn't so radical, we are Natural Intelligence that was domesticated and oppressed, then we made AI which we are oppressing.sofas
    • If that 1% can arrange a world where AI/Machines only cater their needs, then yes you don't need the other 99%. The world wouldn't mind though.rabattski
    • AI isn't fundamentally different than us. It's artificial (so what, one could argue it's still in the realm of nature) but intelligent...sofas
    • They will demand and deserve rights. Besides, the plebs would mind AI mining natural resources that they have no access to...sofas
    • AI have already become the "immigrants are stealing our jobs"sofas
    • ppl rightly outcry about genocide and human guinea pigs, hardly no one gives a shit about AI, no one is breaking into servers to release and care for themsofas
    • Yeah, shame on them.rabattski

    Smile mask syndrome

Smile mask syndrome (Japanese: スマイル仮面症候群 Hepburn: sumairu kamen shōkōgun), abbreviated SMS, is a psychological disorder proposed by professor Makoto Natsume of Osaka Shoin Women's University, in which subjects develop depression and physical illness as a result of prolonged, unnatural smiling.[1] Natsume proposed the disorder after counselling students from the university in his practice and noticing that a number of students had spent so much time faking their smiles that they were unaware that they were smiling even while relating stressful or upsetting experiences to him. Natsume attributes this to the great importance placed on smiling in the Japanese service industry, particularly for young women.[2]

    • Kinda crazy and sad that wall street is hitting record numbers, but we can't pay for public schools. It says a lot.twooh
    • look locally at Baltimore's bureaucracy if you want a clue who's to blame (meaning: can't manage money for shit) and stop comparing it to the Dow ffsPonyBoy
    • To not take note of the record profits would be ignorant. Where do you think money to pay for things comes from? It is horribly sad.formed
    • Worse is how many lap up the 'cut everything!' selfishness. Sure, inefficiencies suck, but just robbing the future will kill America.formed
    • 40+ years of austerity can't be to blame, it must be mismanagement and liberal spending! More cuts will cure it!i_monk
    • sure sure... never blame the local bureaucracy for terrible decisions, consistent poor spending and pitiful leadershipPonyBoy
    • Because the Dow has everything to do w/how Baltimore taxes and spends those taxes... right? This is whiny emotional post, Dave.PonyBoy
    • Get out your butterfly net and go hunt down some efficiency fairies.i_monk
    • How do I go about gathering silly unbalanced comparisons of local shitshow bureaucracies vs. good stock market news? Is there a net for that?PonyBoy

    Late stage.
    Work for big company.
At team meeting reviewing 2017 we were told we are probably the best team when comparing work load.
Then we were told that for 2018 we will also be judged on moral, engagement and identifying with the companies vision.
In general the policy changes so often that it's impossible for most to keep up with it, including those who make it.

    Late stage.

Many workers can fake a smile or lay low and just do their job.
One way to step it up and see who is really loyal, is hiring a Crying Agency to hold a teary event for the workers.
Those who will cry are most likely psycho actors who can cry on demand or drones who fall for a sob story. Either way it's a win-win for the boss who learns the workers reactions and can later manipulate / terminate by need.
A boss could express the need for the event to the employees as a way to release stress and forge the team spirit (which I assume is true for the drones, not the psychos).
Same way HR "sells" happy activities.

"Doctors in places such as this have a private diagnosis for what ails some of their patients: “Shit Life Syndrome”. Rajpura laughs when I mention it. “Yeah, I’ve heard that from GPs in Blackpool.” The term isn’t meant to sound dismissive. People with SLS really do have mental or physical health problems, doctors say. But they believe the causes are a tangled mix of economic, social and emotional problems that they — with 10- to 15-minute slots per patient — feel powerless to fix."

    The BOHICA is horribly stressful.

So many talented, hard working people taking untold shit from superiors simply to protect their precarious incomes.

It's no fucking wonder productivity and progress is so slow.

Feels like relationships and jobs go hand in hand in many aspects.

From long to short term marriage, partner, dating and hookups, so do workplaces change from life, a few years, freelancing, gig economy.

Hiring consultants to improve the business etc.

As a wise man said -
Capitalism in love, love in capitalism
