UPDATE : Liberty Cap Identification & Lawn Care
--------------------------------...Alas, some terrible news. As of 90 minutes ago the suspects are somewhere between my house and the sea.
During the most torrential downpour i have seen in some years the road outside my house flooded. As i live on a road with terraced housing there is nowhere for the water to go but in between the houses and through peoples back gardens. Well, mostly my back garden. A couple of feet of fast flowing water and debris later my once pristine stripy lawn now looks like a fucking rubbish tip and all the mushrooms have gone.
Thanks for your interest and help. Maybe more will grow.

It appears that some superstitious folk name their houses because they have unlucky numbers - like 4 or 13 or 22, things that add up to 4 basically it is considered an unlucky number in Chinese because it is nearly homophonous to the word death. I am about to move into a house number 40 soon and though I'm not all that superstitious it actually crossed my mind to name the house instead of a number, like Fore Tee (as I will be living near a golf course) but my wife told me to stop being a twat.
The numbers in the house name would add up to a different number in numerology hence the luckier the house if it has a favourable number, so I can understand why folks name their house on this flimsy evidence but it's all bollocks anyway eh?

I am in such foul mood today. Slept like shit all week. We call it 'the heel' in Ireland - it is thought of as the best bit of the loaf - the attainment of these fabled slices can give rise to arguments that can tear families apart, and a crisp (potato chip) sandwich between two heels is considered the height of decadence.
