I am fully vaxxed and boosted, yet I caught the virus. My boost was abut 3 months ago.
I was hit pretty hard for a period of about 24 hours, but after that I felt much better almost instantaneous. As if my body somehow knew how to fight the virus :).
I can't imagine what the outcome would have been If I wasn't vaccinated, I'm just glad I was and I managed to get through it quickly. I still have a cough and runny nose, otherwise I feel great!
Not sure on the strain, but I am assuming the new transformer variant just starting to hit L.A.

I came down with cold/flu symptoms last Friday. This weekend I lost all sense of smell. I even huffed a bottle of bleach to see if I could smell it and NOTHING!
I just heard from the doctor and my PCR test came back positive for COVID.
I've been masking up and limiting my exposure to others for months. I'm fully vaxxed but haven't had the booster shot yet.
It's actually not as bad as I though. I've been much sicker with other colds and flu's.
If I go radio silent in the next few days please give me a proper mention in the "RIP or the Day" thread- feel better, man!PonyBoy

Oh man, I just got my PCR back so I could fly home to see my parents and it's f-ing positive.
I've been feeling tired for a few days and I thought I was just hungover.
I got pneumonia the first time in March 2020 but this time I wouldn't have known if it wasn't for the PCR. Thankfully it looks like it's going to be quite mild.
The good news is that I won a raffle in my local bar and I have a ton of nice Christmas food.
