Thinking of learning to become left handed (both handed) as I have so much time during pandemic and still cannot work.
Or do you think it is possible to increase your eyesight just by training? This would be cool, too.
- eyesight? no, presbyopia. situational awareness? yes.imbecile
- Simon! This is awesome - go for it and report backKrassy
- True and trueAQUTE
- Is this so you can take photos with one hand and have the other free to ....microkorg
- ... type or summit?microkorg
- jerking off with both hands will make u go blind faster********

- I think “shafted” was the wrong term here. More like, “your next visit to the hospital will bankrupt your family forever.”********
- "... if you last visit hasn't already"imbecile
- A hospital will take your money. If everyone has same shit markets just adapt********
- Shut up deathboy, you’re an idiot********
- think it through NB... if no one can afford a hospital payment by preexisting covid... hospital make no money... they dont exist********
- no hospitals will team with insursers to raise prices as they always do and tyr to push cost off on employers. and business will lower rates or shed insurance********
- plans as typical. or also inflation in cost of business. wonder a burger is almost twice the price it was ten years ago...********
- but if med was less regulated you could see doctors and providers to find niche areas to lower costs and adapt to provide services and get paid********
- privately not through insurers. like omg wow so novel... u keep holding on to your belief it should be covered u keep doing your own harm********
- hell what harm has my approach caused?********

So I read some local news and surprised we have test about 1/3 the state population. RIght about 1 million ppl. We're just over right around 3 million ppl. Our current cases are 76,311 with 1546 dead. If CDC measures (i read it I can't find it it changed or where it's at now) was for every known case expect 30 with no symptoms ever tested. Now as a note I know where im about to go on data doesn't have any accurate representation about people tested that never showed a symptom. It's on assumption people showing symptoms. Who wants to take time out of day to get shit shoved in nose right? So just ad a margin of 2-4%
So based on those with public data we are looking at a current saturation rate of about 78%. Shy of about 23,333 ppl left to be infected before 100% rate... which no virus ever gets. Basically surpassed herd immunity. Maybe why no hospital surge news hysteria which was always misconstrued...
We look at the death count right now to saturation and we are at .67%. Worse than flue, but not a huge jump in like 2013 over 1%. Not to mention when we look at 2017 CDC data we see for top 10% level medical illness deaths the base is 18,447. Currently covid19 deaths is at 1546. Knowing hospitals mostly shutdown for a quarter and financial incentive to call things covid we have to expect some inflated numbers, than the double dip on regular medical issues. But it seems to display a huge buffer of margin between current deaths and normal deaths. And if it was on top of deaths it puts it at 8.3% which is excessive according to most models. So doesn't add up.
Which makes me wonder why I can't find any current log deaths based on CDC breakdowns to compare. They supposedly have the info and use some farrington algo. And assume it nationwide and jurisdictions, other algos blah blah blah. Which is all fine to try and dig deeper into the data, but raises some question why the most basic numbers I can't find. If there is a current state total of deaths on the same criteria for 2020 I'd like to compare it to 2017. Start there for excess and refine. Looking at what is public it looks like being taken for a ride. That this year will likely be less than 2013 increase.
Im thinking this is like the big short book, a collective fuck storm of ignorance and consolidation of "expertness" and politics creating hysteria and everyone chasing someone else's conclusions with no objectivity. Wont even blow my mind if testing was so rushed it was done for political interests without even working or knowing what to test for hence the clusterfuck of symptoms all over the place and flip flop shit. Plenty of evidence of the case Probably all blamed on trump. Than all the bullshit rules and regulation by people. Is the dog wagging the tail or the tail wagging the dog. Or does everyone know its shit and just blame america and trump for being the experts they followed... just none of the public data out there adds up.
- Can you summarize this in a sentence or two? I read the whole thing and it sounds like you’re suggesting we’re making too big a deal out of coronavirusscarabin
- the data i can get says you are. not that u'd be at all interested. however i expect it to be similar to 80s satanic hysteria u'd dig********
- media and political field day********
- Notes aren't long enough to debunk this for you and I have shit to do. For the sake of brevity, you're a fucking idiot.sausages
- shows your REAL interest in it. Guess that still is a win in future discourse on the matter********
- learning is a good thing********
- you are a moron harrytank02
- I both read it and asked, so clearly i’m interested. It’s still around and killing people by the minute so we’re obviously not making a big enough deal of itscarabin
- I see what you did there... it's all in the Data.AQUTE
- well what can u make of my summarization vs the data. am i missing something? why does cdc have excess death data ran through level of algos but we cant look********
- at basic comparisons. ie basic deaths state wide basic on same criteria for 2020 compared to historical numbers.********
- my conclusion is death is always around. the populace just doesn't measure it all the time and only go off herd mentality based on media********
- data doesnt add up at all.********
- and ppl just oblivious to real deaths. hell i had no idea until digging into the data********
- I agree with you dbAQUTE
- ok aqute. more response to bizarro scarabin. that's great. Have u seen similiar number in your state? Hard to think someone just "agrees"********
- i know its what ppl want but usually not the case... and sorry if offensive but i dont recall your handle********
- The thing about 30 times the cases being missed...if that is true then nationwide it means over 200 million people have been infected lol.yuekit
- I don't think that can possibly be right. And kind of weird that you're mistrusting the government, and yet basing your reasoning on an offhand statement by ayuekit
- government official that probably didn't have any real evidence behind it.yuekit
- im open to all possibilities ukit. I know my memory of the number but cant also fins any current estimate or where i got it from for source********
- but i also think its not full of shit either looking at numbers, and public data. i think basically we got pawned********
- and reminds me when jackinthe box when i was like 5th gth grade maybe got blasted in media for poisoning or deaths. and with student peers repeating claims i********
- thought my parents were trying to kill me eating there. i liked the food but had no idea to understand context.********
- never been taught so a puppet of the media and others. i think this is similiar********
- but ukit if you think im lying find me a number. i may b e mistaken but i dont think i am. i know nyt ghost edits all the time and algos scrub news********
- just my memory running the numbers I found.********
- These kind of posts are usually followed by an obituary but you be you, bossscarabin
- but can we trust gov numbers and fear without running them through the tests as well. i dont trust any talking head which is why i put in some effort to find********
- what public number is can and make my own stats. I'm probably 4 hours deep in research today after seeing testing numbers********
- like whoo 4 hours but you can learn a lot in that time. stuff i never knew. and who really spend s4 hours researching shit when social media dopamine hit emo********
- response is easier. i dont know. im only making an educated response on the info i know. i originally thought a mortality rat of 10% before lockdowns.********
- im just trying to press the data and see if anyone can correct or share knowledge i missed********
- anyone if they have the time or care?********
- Maybe if you didn’t take shots at everyone who tries you’d have better successscarabin
- haha I'm still not totally sure what you're asking about but take a look here, it shows the excess deaths vs. past years:yuekit
- https://www.cdc.gov/…yuekit
- You can see it roughly mirrors the surge in cases in spring and then "second wave" in summer. At the worst point, 40% more people died than in previous years.yuekit
- More recently it's been more like 20%. Still pretty significant though. So for anyone claiming it's fake or made up you'd have to explain this.yuekit
- i've seen stats like '1 million tests' used out of context by media as '1 million people tested' but each positive case requires >3 tests what state you in db?kingsteven
- How many keyboards do you go through on average month?utopian
- everyone is an epidemiologist these daysinteliboy
- If you don’t believe it’s an issue db, why not just go sauna with a bunch of anti-maskers. Go live a little!ben_
- The math you used to conclude that there's 78% saturation makes you look like a complete fucking retard.monospaced
- Less than 100,000 cases in 3M is not even double digit percentages.monospaced
- Yea ukit thats what i first went off of but it doesn't seem to be correct. so i use its filter for nevada 2020 and it tallies 41,323 deaths so far.********
- since that is non specific death, Im trying to find a total annual death rate, but can only seem to find top tens. trying to get a big picture of the numbers.********
- but i did see fauci running cdc numbers against ran saying NYC saturation is 3X the tested case rate. I'd love to know more about the mulitplier because i swear********
- CDC made a statement it was 30 to 1. Unless I calculated there numbers and missed a 0. Possible. 3X seems low though consider kids alone.********
- youth and amount of time that has passed. say major cities probably have to be done now and more rural will have slow effects. still thinking sweden was right********
- and curious its total to this https://www.macrotre…********
- so say high end 184K death vs pop is .05. right now. h1n1 which was meh as fuck, was .04 in 2013-14. im trying to see the context because this reaction seems********
- all politically motivated.********
- or at least its response is quite excessive to the situation. seems like knee on the neck of everyone right in relatable terms for having sniffles********
- “Let’s take precautions against this virus that has killed alomst a million people. That’ll teach those republicans!” What fucking planet are you from?scarabin
- where did u borrow those quotes and what relevance does it have ...which is the whole [point of giving relevance to the numbers********
- so on updated away from my 30 to 1 number we are .01 percent higher based on cdc excess if 2013 near h1n1********
- so in context to what we have been through with little to no concern or lockdown and hsyteria and numbers almost even. what changed? why the difference?********
- hype it and blame. russi failed, impeach failed.. if only so smart i think some peopel believed china, and UK saying 2 million death by now, etc..********
- time to own up and say shit nigga we all wrong********
- well the 2.2m deaths was made by a man who with the same model was once 13000% off on deaths by swineflu in the UK - i don't think it's a conspiracy...kingsteven
- just Neil Ferguson's worst-case models are not compatible with reality. If we had responsible bipartisan governments that the public could trust and a mediakingsteven
- thats funded by sensationalism we wouldn't need to rely so much on big scary numbers to make people comply with distancing. and deal with the iconoclastickingsteven
- fallout of folks that realise 'something isn't right' with the numbers and latch on to the first conspiracy that is compatible with their beliefs.kingsteven
- no conspiracy here king. im looking at projections, and data and how it correlates to everyday.********
- most people yourself and i didnt even know daily normal death counts. we are not told it all the time********
- so im simply looking for false herd signals, and establishing context. and everything i see says this doesnt add up. its not much different from what in previou********
- s years we would shrug at and keep moving on. difference this time is politics, social media, and peoples reliance on monopolized buffoons********
- like explain why the drastic difference between what we know right now and h1n1 percentages?********
- you do know mass hysteria is a real thing. or faux mass hysteria. follow the incentives..********
- how many keyboards did you go through this month deathboy?utopian

A baffled world is watching as the US is overrun by COVID-19 infections and deaths — with no end in sight.
Political leaders in countries across the world are baffled as the US, once seen as a superpower, struggles to get the coronavirus outbreak under control.
Across 13 countries including Canada, Australia, and Spain, the US has been viewed in the most negative light over the past year, and they are especially critical of the US's handling of the pandemic.
The disapproval goes beyond the pandemic and extends to the actions taken by President Donald Trump.
Some officials told The New York Times that Trump's rhetoric and actions are eroding democracy globally.
