- Has that been happening to you? What reason? Stress/worry, old bed, injury, there are ways around shitty sleep, melotonin, chamomile, indica...canoe
- I actually sleep pretty well, but some friends struggle with it a bit, one from booze and stress often wakes up with blood in his mouth.PhanLo
- Blood in his mouth?? That's something more than stress or drinking.CyBrainX

Once you hit 70, you think about death a lot and your friends and family your age start to die.

The other day I had to stretch in order to sit down on the toilet and take a dump.

I’ve been married for a long time and have 2 kids and I can’t see any way back from notching up the divorce milestone in the near future. Signs you’re statistically unremarkable.
- that's the ticket - think positive!hans_glib
- Your wife on QBN?BusterBoy
- My mate got divorced last year, has had so much sex, he reckons more than the 20 years with his wife. He's having a blast. i think he'll also drink himself to..PhanLo
- ... death, hopefully before he runs out of money.PhanLo
- Another recently divorced guy (50yo) I know, got really into boxing and going to the gym and starting getting loads of deliberately bad tattoos, he seems to bePhanLo
- doing quite well, changed his job up and has a bit more freedom. He posts loads of pics of his kids on instagram now that he isn't neglecting them by working...PhanLo

Honestly. After a certain age, you're alone, and it's because that's what you're looking for.
Your partner's menopause is the end; "no one can handle it". You don't have to do it, but you do
and leaving is the best thing for both of you.You love the woman who's been with you for more than 30 years, but she's not the same anymore, and she won't be again—that's what they tell you.
You try to be positive, to laugh it off, but they tell you you're fighting against a wall.
I have to understand my father and the other men I've met in their 50s and over.
But if we had given up in the face of difficulties, we wouldn't be here, my friends.
- Yeaaaaahhh!! 00:00 hour here, when posted ;)OBBTKN
- Take care of your loved ones freaks!OBBTKN
- "not the same anymore"
How?doggydoggdog - It's rough, no doubt. Go for a walk, get some space.... heh, or run and never come back ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ hang in therebezoar
- I've been married 34 years and honestly it feels fantastic. It's not about sex much but things weren't about sex when I was a little kid either. Good times.nuggler
- Sex is not a problem anymore. His mood swings and behavior sometimes do. He reminds me of my mother during this phase... and I don't miss her ;)OBBTKN
- I have a trauma with my mother, and it's huge! She's a controlling and irascible woman. She made my father's life miserable...OBBTKN
- And I don't want to repeat the experience.OBBTKN
- We're drawn to women who're like our mothers. But if you're over that trauma, its time to move on and find a more aligned new soul mate. Without forcing.Beeswax
- Is it abandoning your long time partner? Yes and no. But we all need to work alone. Otherwise no work is done with a man as punching pillow nearby.Beeswax
- True that Bw. But we've worked very good as a couple until now. It's a new phase, and we need to find a way to not to hurt each other. All is not lost yet!OBBTKN
- Same here. New phase.Beeswax
- I think I'm in this boat too. Things are different now and I'm becoming a bit of a punching bag. Things will have to change if we're going to last.CyBrainX
- Been through this. We didn't survive as a couple, but survive as friends. She doesn't want to be with anybody again. A total shift.Horp

I spent my life playing music: rock bands, noise bands, jazz bands... never did I think I would prefer listening to Mozart piano music in my old age!
- Same here, I never digested jazz, but last years I’m in love with Bill Evans. Classical pianist - best male: Vladimir Horowit, female: Martha Argerichfisheye
- Some 20 years ago I was totally hooked on Frank Zappa through high school and college, and because I play guitar all my life, I stumbled upon Danny Gatton, fisheye
- ... Jerry Reed, Chet Atkins, and of course here comes my obsession with country music ... and then I found out that The Rolling Stones had a couple of nice countryfisheye
- .. songs, so me, as a Beatles guy became obsessed with the rolling stones.fisheye
- I bet Zappa liked the people you mentioned too. If you like Stones country music, look into Gram Parsons if you haven't heard him.CyBrainX
- Thanks! Yes, Gram Parson is on the list also, than Hank Williams, Waylon Jennings ...fisheye

I ticked off two people on buses on the way home tonight - first bus, kid dropping litter (literally no thought process going on in his stupid head as he did it); Second bus, middle-aged french lady engaging very loudly on a video call.
Last week: a bunch of kids who all got on (on one of the hottes days of the year) eating vinegar-soaked chips. One I told off again, because after moving away from me (lol) i saw him wipe his greasy hand down the side of his seat.
