Remainers don't seem to get it.
we've been covertly railroaded for the past 30+ years into a system thats power mad and lacks accountability, proactively diminishing the power and identify of nation states and centralising power in Germany with the support of France.
As a giant ponzy scheme more and more poorer nations are added some with very high cultural differences that increase immigration to richer countries and drive down the standard of living effectively beocming a slave labourforce. the uk has the highest population density of any euroean country despite being one of the smallest (UN figures 2015).
its safe to say this has a detrimental effect on society with race related crimes and intra race/cultural crimes increasing, increase in homelessness and begging on the streets.
at least thats what im seeing on visits to london/manchester/leeds
regarding trade deals - thats for the politicians to sort out. the fact its going so shitly is squarely down to them and you cant blame the populace. we have a remainer at the head so obviously it was going to go badly and theres fuck all we can do about that.
i dont doubt the economy is going to go to shit but rather that that than losing the ability to make those in power accountable for their actions.
rather that than keen the status quo.
whatever happens its the politicians that have fucked this up be it on the run up to the referendum or after it in the what can laughably be called negotiations.
i guarantee if you have referendum the result would be the same as i'll bet people are MORE pissed off at how things have layed out and have lost patience with it all and are pretty angry about it)
all this despite wat the liberal press/bbc would have you believe
just my 2p - fed up of liberal rhetoric
- you're really selling itFax_Benson
- and FFS, homelessness, race related-crime has nothing to do with EU membership. You're talking about brown people and recession-necessitat... services cutsFax_Benson
- or non-EU migration and UK fiscal policy. The EU is shit but all our problems will exist without it - and then someFax_Benson
- I sort of hear you both. EU is fucked and was from the get go but UK politics is also fucked. Feels like we are stuck in a game of thrones house battlemugwart
- When both sides are psychopathic and failing. It's up to people to step up and not rely on governments to protect us. They never have not will.mugwart
- well, if EU is as you say, then won't it be a big treat to a tiny UK? Whereas if we're party of it, we can control it.shapesalad
- The poor countries added to, are Cristian white cultures with more in common to the UK than African/Arabic/India... countries.shapesalad
- Homelessness, multi-cultral Britain - most of the problems stem from Blair and UK policies.shapesalad
- Hungry & Poland have both said no to muslim/african immigration quota's imposed by the EU.shapesalad
- Where as it was the UK that openly took in 1000's of Arabic refugee's back in the Iraq, Iran and Afghan wars. Nothing to do with EU. UK gov's stupid choice.shapesalad
- And those are countries far removed from our Cristian culture.shapesalad
- And expect to see lots more homeless when 10000's lose jobs as out exports are unwanted in the world markets.shapesalad
- And my rhetoric isn't liberal - it's realistic, based on facts.shapesalad
- Also your comment on trade deals shows your complete lack of understanding on how trade deals and import/export economics works.shapesalad
- You guys used to be a much cooler country when Sean Connery was James Bond. Now you're not so cool anymore and Idris Elba even confirmed that.robotron3k
- EU and race related crime problems, wut?liberal press? do you live in a different country? aside from the Guardian we don't have a liberal press. The BBC hasfadein11
- become a tory mouthpiece.fadein11
- Austerity caused a lot of problems that people think Brexit will fix. It'll more austerity for the next 50 years.
I'm up for it though. Fuck it.PhanLo

Since around June 2017, using your phone on holiday within the EU = no roaming changes. Data, calls, texts - all charged at your home EU country rate according to the package you have there. With a fair usage of around 2months out of home country use.
Well.. I've used my UK contract here in Lisbon for 1+ year and had no problems. Was expecting some sort of communication from my provider but I guess they don't have a means to monitor usage abroad or don't care.
With Brexit, you leave idiots have now ruined that for your future holidays. If your flight can take off considering the mess a hard brexit will land us in. Expect to pay through your nose to use your mobile in the EU you fools. Enjoy that one.

Not a fan of guardian, but video was kinda good, well the clips from the movie representing eu/uk

Anyone else planning to claim refugee status in the EU post Brexit?
I'm checking my options here:
http://www.euronews.com/2015/09/…
The good news is Sunny peaceful Portugal is can't fill their EU quota: https://www.scmp.com/news/world/…
So plenty room for me then :-)

Zero benefits to Brexit in the category of European holidays:
Utter shite. What fool would vote for this?
Let's look at the rich people that tried to influence the vote:
https://www.independent.co.uk/ne…
Donating to political parties - so basically buying votes. Whole practice should be banned.
- Think I'll get an Irish passport.PhanLo
- This always happens. there has never been a time in the west when we have not had this. I get your rage but its not the voters.mugwart
- We are going to maybe loose half our company through this. Its mayhemmugwart
- EU is utter shit as well, corruptions on every single side. Its all fuck, left and right, up and down.mugwart
- EU started as a free market but now look how much fucking power it wields now. It also wants an army. Things in the world are spiraling out drastically.mugwart
- yes EU is out of control, hence we need our uk voice of reason sitting in the European parliament keeping them in check.shapesalad
- what do you want economic disaster or being part of a megalomaniac organisation and having some chance to steer it in a better direction?shapesalad
- +1 shapefadein11
- I should point out shape that UK is and always have been out of control.mugwart
- I hear you and agree somewhere, truely I do. I work in a very EU centric place and LOVE the people there. This is fucked. But your response is also a fearmugwart
- response. as with America, two votes psychopath A or psychopath B. I think we normals need to get realistic & these cunts dont care about us & find a new path.mugwart
- I really want to drive it home, I hear your pain and stress, I have it as well. UK are just as/ if not more corrupt as any other nation in human history.mugwart
- I'm also have the mindset that we normals are treated as cattle, so we are guided to psychological agreements that we wouldnt normally agree to.mugwart
- apologies for quoting this but I am a believer in "problem, reaction, solution". We have no leaders guiding this.mugwart

Brexit idiots are clueless:

7 Months to go.
Still no concrete decision made on these key issues.
Irish Boarder:
Gibraltar:
I don't see these sensitive issues being resolved in 7 months, while the government is still dealing all the other stuff:
- those decisions won't be made... noone was prepared for Cameron's arrogant failed power play and we will pay for it for decades.fadein11

Board flight as EU citizen, land as a third-country national subject to strict passport and customs controls. Sounds fun:

“By 2022, I want the UK to be the G7’s number-one investor in Africa, with Britain’s private sector companies taking the lead.
“The challenges facing Africa are not Africa’s alone. It is in the world’s interest to see that those jobs are created, to tackle the causes and symptoms of extremism and instability, to deal with migration flows and to encourage clean growth.”
and
"The prime minister will recommit to maintaining the aid budget at 0.7% of GDP"
I'm sure leave voters are going to be please with out first venture into the world as a non eu country. Yes let us pour more money into Africa, a continent full of corruption.
I think leave voters want a UK first policy, cut foreign aid and investing in foreign initiative and sort out the UK first.
How about that 0.7% is spent on uk problems first? Then if there's anything left we can go around being all godly dishing out cash here and there.
My mum's local swimming pool up in the north of uk, in one of the poorest parts of the country, closed down as there wasn't enough government support to keep it ticking over. Her village is now lacking any leisure/health facility. A place for all ages to gather and spend time doing something healthy - gone. But that's ok, let's hand over 0.7% gdp to some African dictators to buy themselves some gold watches.
The problem with the UK has never been the EU, it's entirely self inflicted by virtue signalling PM's and MP's who feel they need to sit atop of the world being the worlds saviour - dishing out aid and dropping bombs etc - while forgetting to see the country they reside in is crumbling.
- How about creating more jobs up in the north of the UK rather in Africa with UK money.shapesalad
- isn't china "taking over" Africa. Good god we are being coming colonial again.
Photo sums up my embarrassment.mugwart - hah the tories don't even do the PR slant -"we give aid to boost trade" - unashamed admission that it's not aid, with a dance.kingsteven
- Did your mum's town vote for Brexit?PhanLo
- My mum voted to remain. Her town, probably voted for brexit... Such was the misinformation and stupidity of asking the general public...shapesalad
- With all the extra Brexit money, I'm sure it will re-open with flumes and a hot tub with a tiled mosaic of the queen.PhanLo
- ^ they reopened that with the money saved on the fire proofing of Grenfell Tower.mugwart
- Nairn0
Isn't one of your beefs non-EU immigration, shapesalad?
If so, can't you see that investing in Africa, making it a place for Africans to have better opportunities to have better livelihoods and construct better communities and social structures would result in less need for them to have to move away in the first place?
Google 'Marshal plan for Africa'.
Reducing the scope of the EU CAP would be a first step to creating jobs and wealth in Africa.
- *marshall*Nairn
- Britain doesn't really have a good track record in Africa.PhanLo
- No cunt does, but let's not let history absolutely dictate the future.Nairn
- necessity is the mother of altruismFax_Benson
- That's a nice idea, but if they want to make Africa better, then the leaders need changing, not money thrown at them.shapesalad
- Africa has the land, the resources, the people - but their leaders are corrupt and many fractions are fighting. No amount of money will fix that.shapesalad
- Rarely in life does throwing money at a problem fix things. You need to get to the root of the matter.shapesalad
- You keep stating they'll be 'throwing money at it', when it more seems they're trying to encourage commercial interest, which is necessarily less wont to do soNairn
- Prevention is better than cure. Providing finance and expertise in countries with little to no experience of managing infrastructure projects is better than...Morning_star
- ...dealing with the burden of refugees when that country turns to shit.Morning_star
- Send them more jesus idiots from the US, that'll fix them.PhanLo
- shapesalad2
They make some good points:
- shapesalad1
A very good talk:
If we can't save £5bn per year then it's not worth leaving the EU.

"That these unelected, unaccountable neocon linked think tanks, many associated with Tufton St, have had taken the opportunity to influence right-wing ideological Tories to not only impact the outcome of an allegedly free and fair referendum, but to then influence and mould the policies that will define the UK’s future is nothing short of remarkable."
"Both Leave campaigns employed questionable tactics and promoted highly misleading information during the referendum, they dismissed the myriad of warnings on the economy as ‘project fear’ yet today the UK has gone from a growth engine to the worst performing economy amongst the G7, the pound has been devalued, our GDP is more than 2% lower than anticipated, we’re all physically poorer and foreign investment into the UK is down by 92%."
- "illegally obtained a referendum result through cheating and criminality"shapesalad
- It's unfortunate but the majority of the UK populace don't care. Apathy reigns. If articles like the one you've posted don't inspire folk into action then...Morning_star
- ...there is little hope for a sensible solution.Morning_star
- needs reporting across front page, breaking headline news, social media. We need a strong spokesperson to push these facts forward.shapesalad
- +1 morningstarfadein11
- Good points raised. But shape - the uk media/headlines are so manipulated we simply can't trust anything. The English are to busy sleeping their lives away.mugwart
- hans_glib0
the times reported today that while eu immigration has fallen, rest-of-the world immigration has grown. so we aren't even controlling those borders that are non-eu.
- Yup. I've been saying since the start - the brexiteer bloke in the street is going to be furious when they realise what they've 'achieved'Nairn
- But, Brits is going to Brit, and no cunt will say anything; Just keep their head down, read the Mail or the Sun and whinge into their pints.Nairn
- We can replace all those Portugese and Romanian health professionals with Indian developers. It's what we voted for.Fax_Benson
- move the NHS onlineFax_Benson
- The non-eu immigrants (Middle East/African) are the ones that will benefit from Brexit...shapesalad
- as they will simply setup importing businesses, once uk set zero import duties - to bring in their local food/stuff for their large customer base in uk.shapesalad
- expect to see a growth in Persian rug shops and African mask and trinket shops etc. all imported with zero duties. bought by immigrants on benefits.shapesalad
- If I was from Middle East, I'd be cheering for Brexit and zero tariffs, I'd be calling my brothers back home and setting up an import business.shapesalad
- And all the British white brexiters will be steaming mad when their local village shop starts selling a load of dodgy middle eastern products.shapesalad

Boris to face court over false claim that the UK sends £350m to the EU each week:
https://www.theneweuropean.co.uk…
The Leave vote begins to crumble....

...and these callers, I presume have held down jobs and got mortgages and drive cars... yet.. they are so, what is the word... Stupid.
- lowimpakt0
this is, indirectly, brexit in a nutshell.
Karen Bradley who was appointed the Northern Secretary said she didn't understand Northern Irish politics before she was given and took the job.
she didn't know that "people who are nationalists don’t vote for unionist parties "
At least she was honest but people in charge being utterly clueless is never a good thing.
- A sizeable chunk of England think like that regarding Northern Ireland.PhanLo
- mind bogglingFax_Benson
- That is politicans in a nutshell. "Those that can, do, those that can't go into politics or local government".Nairn
- I wish that turn of phrase weren't used for teachers, it's really misdirected.Nairn
- the arrogance you need to take the job - that job - in the knowledge that you're completely unqualifiedFax_Benson
- "And you mean Foreign Secretary? That isn't code for Northern Ireland? I'm not fucking going there."kingsteven
- Those fuckers live in a different world their whole life.PhanLo
