Since around June 2017, using your phone on holiday within the EU = no roaming changes. Data, calls, texts - all charged at your home EU country rate according to the package you have there. With a fair usage of around 2months out of home country use.
Well.. I've used my UK contract here in Lisbon for 1+ year and had no problems. Was expecting some sort of communication from my provider but I guess they don't have a means to monitor usage abroad or don't care.
With Brexit, you leave idiots have now ruined that for your future holidays. If your flight can take off considering the mess a hard brexit will land us in. Expect to pay through your nose to use your mobile in the EU you fools. Enjoy that one.
