I no longer find this whole "I don't care about my father, I don't listen to him and I don't plan to answer him" thing funny with my youngest daugther.
I know it's a passing thing and that in a year or two he'll get over it, but I've had enough with my oldest daughter.
Plus, he only has it with me. He barely has any problems with my wife!
I'm the target of his struggles with the male figure, the heteropatriarchy, Trump, the melting of the polar ice caps, climate change, the shitty economic situation and probably WWIII. LMAO.

So y'all have helped me, sometimes a LOT, with our posters for the City of Trees Parade and Mardi Gras Festival for the past few years. I am the lead organizer of the parade, and this year I actually got a graphic designer to volunteer to help do our big poster (again below). Currently working on the 'ol CV/Resume.
For someone with 20 years graphic/digital design and 5 years ux/ui experience, do you think it's even necessary to list the Software you are proficient in? Seems pretty daft listing photoshop, illustrator etc as they are a given, no?
In my experience bullets I've already noted about use of Figma and Adobe XD, which are the main softwares any UX/UI job will be looking for.

After reading a little bit about 4K Blu-ray players last weekend, I realized that for years when I thought I was watching something in 4K, I really wasn't.
I have a 4K TV in my basement, but I have had my Apple TV and my Xbox hooked up to an HDMI receiver that does not have 4K pass-through. The Apple TV was also a 2nd gen version that didn't have 4k UHD.
Ordered 4k hdmi cables, bought a new Apple TV with 4k UHD, ran things straight to the tv and switched to optical audio out from the tv to the receiver.
I feel like I have a brand new TV. 4k content on Max and Netflix is stunning. Just to humor myself I will switch the Apple TV to a lower definition mode just to see what it used to be like and it is a night and day difference.
I can laugh about it because at least the solution and upgrades didn't cost a fortune or anything.

- Now the TV (Samsung) properly adjusts its modes based on what the input is. It didn't do that ever via HDMI out of the receiver.mg33
