My family is a fucking curse.
I just learned today that my sister is transferring money to her own bank account from my mothers, and pays the bills for the house where my mother lives using that money. So right now on paper it looks like she is the one taking care of my mother, which is a lie.Last time it was my brother who ripped her off, and on the top of it decided to move back in, because i wasn't there...
I had to travel back to europe to get his ass out of that house,
and now we' here.I'm tired of this.

Just did a bunch of spring cleaning, hoovering, and rearranging of furniture while listening to a fiddler on the roof podcast. Time flew by, and I got everything done... but the guy doing the interview on the podcast was so bad and interviewing... Like he couldn't think of any questions to ask except awkward ones and kept repeating "it's a such a great movie" over and over instead of interacting with the answers the guest was giving. It kinda ruined what could have been an awesome podcast. Anyway... sleepy now, time for a nap.

auto's post above prompted me. My 16 year old son...he's a great kid. So thoughtful and empathetic. Also very spriitual...our family is not religious but he explored religion, meditation and spirituality at a very young age...around 10 or 11. Also super into music and plays in a band...although with COVID they haven't played much.
So he's very different to me.
He's also quite a loner. Has a few friends but I think he's happier when he's by himself. Kind of shy and awkward...but he really is a lovely boy.
But I think he believes that he doesn't really matter when it comes to his friends. That they think his presence and contributions aren't really valued. I don't think he's right there...but I sense a bit of anxiety on that front.
He's also had some OCD type episodes. Started about 5 years ago when he'd do the occasional strange little thing...kind of disappeared for a while, but it's back with a vengeance the past month or so. He'll go in and out of the house about 10 times a night even in the freezing cold. Sometimes going into the backyard and opening / closing the BBQ lid about 50 times. He says it's just something he does as habit and nothing to worry about...but I am getting a bit concerned.
He has had sessions with a child psychologist in the past which did help...thinking we may need to go down that path again.
Anyway, not sure why I'm writing this...but it's all just part of the journey I guess.

I'm a loner. Coronavirus made me happy to see the world disappear but now I miss it.
I don't want kids or a family, some good company is all I'm asking for. Not in a rush to find it, being alone is peaceful.
I want to be able to exercise outdoors again. Can't wait for the parks to open again. I love exercise, I've missed it since winter and corona hit.
I've gained 10 lbs due to inactivity. Mostly in the upper body.

Back in the iTunes days, I used to be able to archive the podcasts episodes that I loved by just finding the accurately titled files in the podcast folder (home/music/itunes/itunes media/podcasts).
With the os x Podcast app I can't seem to do that anymore.
Now files are stored in various cache folders and labeled 0E129DB5-E2D4-4E22-8FA5-4CB4B6BB... etcAny good podcast app out there that keeps episode files clearly organised ?
