Just found out that a friend got the biopsy results - which were not wonderful - from a cancer check up she had TWO MONTHS ago.
TWO. FUCKING. MONTHS.
I'm incredulous.
I've lost family to the cancer she's facing, and I know how important time is when it comes to treating it.
Two months could literally be the difference between life and death, and given the test was positive.. I mean, I don't even want to think about it.

This is in a different, EU, country with a supposedly solid halthcare service. The NHS in England seems to get a lot of flak, but in my personal experience and from the little I know about cancer testing and treatment, I've got nothing to fault it for.
Fucking two months.

Ok, here is the day!
Are going to be two crazy workload weeks, day and night preparing the material to get the funds to publish my comic and illo books.
Today, final touching the writing and dialogs, scan pages in pencil, sneak peeks, and sidenotes... and 2 finished pages on digital ink and colours, lettering, coverpages... all done for a meeting tomorrow morning with a "counselor".
After this, presentation to fundraisers and publishers, 2 weeks more.

yesterday evening, i hear a drone flying around my house and didnt think much of it, but after about 10 minutes I still heard, it was close by and loud, I looked out the windows and didnt see anything, so i brushed it off, I then went out to take out the trash and I didnt see anything in the sky so i figured it left,
but when I went back in the house I heard it again, I have a roof deck so i made my way up there stairs to the deck and right before i opened up the door to the roof i heard it die, I opened up the door and these was a DJI spark. I grabbed it and walked around the neighborhood with it looking for someone who may have lost it but found no one, then thought, maybe i could get the memory card out of it, put it in my computer then see if the footage reveals the owner, but when i opened it up there was no memory card in it,
so I looked online to see how people can recover their drones and apparently if they register or some shit they can have their flight records recorded and automatically uploaded online, hopefully this person did that or else I may have to go buy me a spark then i'll have a spare. I dont really need one though, been purging all my shit trying to go minimalist for the past year, last thing I need is to own something i have to go buy batteries and blades for n shit.
