    Take a boring, easy job with nice coworkers or go out on your own with no clients and work on personal work and promote yourself and wait for clients to come to you?

    • Step 1: prepare your folio the best you can do it. Step 2: pull a viral stunt of some kind - release a digital product, start a blog, do a newsletter, etc.

    • Step 3: redirect all traffic to your folio as people take notice and look you up Step 4: prepare to say "no" to 50% of the inquiries

    • Step 5: say "yes" to the other 50% of good gigs. Step 6: profit

    • Step 7: get a decent low-key job just in case this takes more than 3 months
