Had a horrible week, I'm under contract for 40 hours a week, but I'm given 55 hours of work, projects going haywire, couldn't sleep all week, having trouble selling a property in Texas cause so much fukin' paperwork, blah, blah, blah...
Who'd a thought staying out all night Saturday doing cocktails of chemicals I hadn't done in two dozen years and hitting underground clubs would be the perfect reset. I feel reborn!

My very good friend in NYC introduced me to her brother that I had never met before. Turns out, we like each other and he head over heels for me. It feels amazing but is also very new. We've been talking all day, every day since (texts, calls, facetime) ever since. My friend definitely encouraged this when I visited New York earlier this month.
Here's where I pause -- my friend and her brother are extremely close. I'm afraid if it doesn't work out I could lose a friend or drastically change the friendship I adore. In the same breath, I also feel like I could possibly opt out of something really good for me if all my "what ifs" take the wheel. I'm not a savage, but I just got out of a 12 year relationship and I'm dating for the first time in a long time. I'm not sure he can handle the pacing I'd need to commit. Some of the things he says leads me to believe he's really serious about how he feels about me. i just don't want to jump into the wrong serious thing even though it feels good.
He does live in another state (not New York where i frequent) about 1500 miles away. So, if were to make it work he'd have to move because I have no interest in where he lives. He has expressed the willingness to move if a long distance thing gets too difficult. But how long can that really last before we have to make a decision to be in the same city together? That definitely intensifies the seriousness of the situation because if he does move we would immediately be living together. What would you do?

Just sent an email to a best friend I've not been in contact with for too long - we've been back and forthing about life plans, etc, and I ended up having a bit of a rant about options in a post-Brexit world, leading to some vehement outpouring about the cretins who voted for it.

I'm seeing the most beautiful woman at the moment. I've seen her around town for years and always had her very vaguely in the back of my mind, that beautiful long dark haired English rose that I see from time to time gliding through the laines here in Brighton.
Well, now I've been seeing her for a few months and honestly I don't know what's wrong with me. She was over tonight, being fun and seductive and cute as ever, and all I wanted her to do was fuck off so I could smoke a joint a watch YouTube and shit.
She's perfect, and I genuinely appreciate the friendship and connection we've built, but I'm not even all that bothered about having sex with her. I just wanted it over and done with and her gone so I could sit by myself and enjoy being. Doing what I do by myself.

She answered my call, perhaps by accident, and then said "Oh hi sara-" and *click* hung up. Didn't answer again.
