Round shoelaces that come on boots, fucking suck. They won't stay tied without double-knotting them. Which, looks stupid on dress boots. Why do they even make these god forsaken things?

Working on a 26 x 2.5metre wall display. Quite complex but kinda cool looking graphics, printed onto vinyl with media screens. Client signs of initial concepts so we get started with actual file working tenth of the size and the file size is over 40gig so far in Photoshop. Client now wants to fuck about with the design process and change all the images. Fun!

    • use InDesign and place imagesmonospaced
    • Break it into sections.i_monk
    • Thanks guys. Not gonna work. The file size isn't really the issue, just the constant changing of ideas. Just letting off some steam!Ianbolton

    • I remember that script, it was a pain in the ass to get it working. You needed to set your browser to Adult Mode and load the Self-Control library first.

A question for all the QBN parents or marrieds here (these questions are mutually exclusive)

    1. Has being married changed the way you work or relate to the people you work with? Perhaps even work itself?

    2. Has having children or an additional responsibility (like a child) changed the way you work with others, or even possibly how you're in a relationship with others or those in your community?

    3. Has either changed your goals from when you did not have a kid (kids)?

    • #3 was not clear. Has having either changed your goals from when these things were not present.notype

2018 is the year I fully dive into Youtube. This is now the website I visit the most and where I spend the most of my time online.

I hate a chicken pita for dinner and we had a power outage.

    Tomorrow, snow is coming.

I'm going home for the 3rd time today. Spring is here, and it feels like summer, so I can't sit on my ass. The current distraction from work is to go home, make some buttery chilli prawns and aglio olio.
Check-in to that bakery where the girl who looks like Margaret Qualley works. With the hope that she will be there today, and I have a chance to ask her out.

My office inbox is at 49 unread, one project is in crisis.
I will be back in 2-3 hours.

    Life is great.

I made Bulletproof coffee. But used caffeine-free coffee. And added 20 mg of Ritalin. Been focused as a laserbeam for 6 hours straight. Better living through chemistry.

I might die later, but at least i was productive today.

Charged a client a higher hourly rate for a project recently - I was hesitant and expected to have to explain the invoice. But invoice was paid promptly and without question.
Now she has recommended me to one of her clients at the going (higher) rate and I'm so glad I stuck to my guns and charged what I charged.
