Woke up in the hospital. Apparently was found on the street by the fire department at 8pm. Just moved to the US and don't have insurance. Is this going to cost me?

    Might have a drinking problem.

    • isn't that a bit early to pass out? ...did you take a drug test?uan
    • Yeah, I suspected it might have had something to do with the drink I was given from this group of older couples I was chatting to at the bar.shapeaspect

had trouble staying awake during this weird fuckery of a flick called SORRY TO BOTHER YOU, it had a promising premise but the wheels fell off and it became a series of unfunny sketches within a film, obviously they were out of ideas. They should of kept it simple.

STill as bad as it was it may still have been one of the most socio-politically relevant films of the 2010's coming out of the US.

    Maybe.

US independent film is odd and terrible yet good right now.

    • Damn. I was looking forward to watching this. But you seem like a complete douche so doubt your review will affect my decision.Hayzilla

    • Yeah I felt the same which is a shame because the trailer I saw looked fucking amazing. The film, not so much._niko
    • Was worry free parodying welfare or corporate life? It seemed to change course halfway. That irked me

    • The movie was ambitious but really lacked the intelligence to do anything else but scream "look at me!" before reverting to cartoonish slapstick.

Just finally bothered to read all the messages I've been seeing from Flickr. WOW. 1000 image cap on all non-pro accounts. I was wondering how Instagram were effecting them as a platform. This will certainly not help!

I get some people need to take SSRI drugs, but it's turning many of them into callous numb inhuman aholes. There's at least one in every office.

    • it's more like that they were just born assholesGnash
    • Ssri really makes people callous, it's a fact. I bet hillary was on that shitpinkfloyd
    • SSRIs are antidepressants. For most people that need them, they make their lives happier, more stable and tolerable.monospaced
    • ^yup.Gnash
    • i know several people that ssri's are helping in really positive ways.Gnash
    • They literally numb you down. It's suppressing your depression, but it's also suppressing all of your emotions makig you less humanpinkfloyd
    • I'm not sure about the tolerable partpinkfloyd
    • ya. that's how they help, though. keep people from getting too low into that depression trough. which is so hard to get out ofGnash

Anyone know of a good website for finding GOOD local WIFI spots? ...particularly w/good upload speed. I'm stuck in the middle of rural NH and my inlaws have a pretty slow connection... and I have about 2 gigs of files to move. I gotta go find a good coffee shop (even willing to pay for a few hours)... help.

Client asked me for a cheat sheet for animated gifs. Back story: they uploaded a 10MB gif to their start page and ruined their Google result for a few days.

This is nearly impossible because gifs are fucking complicated and the client is not very intelligent. Wat do?

I've just spent the past two hours fixing counters in deep-etched painted wood pieces - fuckers are so small (we're talking detail sizes less than a millimetre in size) I had to use the very tip of a cocktail stick and very- carefully- oh- christ- don't- tremble dab whilst looking through a magnifying loupe.
