We learn from mistakes.
Current approach for self driving cars is to fit it with sensors and program it to read the road, recognise this and that and at all costs avoid a crash.
But how about fitting a car with a massive thick bumper all around it, giving the deep learning AI visual and 3d laser scan data, and setting it to go from A > B. Each time it bumps into something, the AI reviews the proceeding data and learns what to do to avoid it. Eventually the AI will have learnt how to drive and avoid crashes. You just need a test course to practice it on. Once it's 90% there, get it on real roads with a human intervening when it makes a wrong move.
- You think they let AI vehicles out onto the streets that are anywhere near '90% there'?Nairn
- They kind of already do what you suggets by having the driver behind the wheel. Every time the driver's input is invoked, it's logged and fed back.Nairn
- That's the supposed strength of Tesla's path - they have n thousand data points, constantly feeding back.Nairn
- Waymo has 5 million miles of road testing, and 5 *billion* miles of simulation testing under its hood, so to speak, and still not 'production ready'.Nairn

Why aren't internet websites dark/ black?
Wouldn't it be better for the environment, less electricity usage and above all easier on the eyes?
- light type on dark background is too stressful on the eyesspl33nidoru
- White sites like qbn kill my eyes, especially in the evenings & night. Wish all web was kinda like this: https://www.apple.co…NBQ00
- I do a lot of text work and my luminosity is always set to 50%, makes for pretty smooth reading on qbn. If you do more visual work and have it at 100%, ouchspl33nidoru
- if we use electric, who cares how much electricity we use, theoretically?docpoz

Went to a highland dance thing with the family. Organised by some friends. Was meant to be dressed up with a bit of a highland theme...but some of the YOUNGER girls just came dressed in party frocks. Not altogether appropriate for the evening.
The dance was one of those ones where you change partners a few times...what do you do when you're forced to dance with someone clearly underage with everything hanging out...and your wife's on the other side of the dance floor?
Keep your eyes pointing in the right direction...that's what!!
- lol... that actually sounds horrifying! XD
tho... my wife would think it was adorable and tease me about for the next monthPonyBoy - they're just glands.shapesalad

I got blatantly eyed-up by an older woman when I was mooching around the supermarket on my way in to work this morning.
She did multiple passes as I idled trying to work out what milk to buy for the studio (they've stopped selling the small form UHT milk I put a dropper's worth of into each cup - this has caused me some consternation this past couple of weeks - I can't justify buying a whole litre of UHT milk as I barely use 100ml over a week. I should get a fridge and just buy pints of real milk, but anyway). Then she very widely smiled at me, nodding her head slightly suggestively before moving on. Hey, not going to lie, gave me a small mental boost on an otherwise mundane Monday morning.
Now, I've just been sat here at my computer and looked down, realising that I didn't quite finish dressing this morning, so my shirt's been open down to the fourth button (not including the collar, obviously), with my manly jungle of red-raw ginger chest hair spilling forth voluptuously and enticingly. Also, my partner insisted upon helping me cut my hair the other week, but instead of the temporary trim I had in mind to crop it back a bit (it was flowing to my shoulders.. yeah, not great) she chopped off a good three inches, so now it's too short to tie back and too long to ... well, not look like an aging Hanson wannabe. So, on the walk in, post-shower, it was unintentionally slicked back.
i realise now, I kind of look like some early middle aged wannabe lothario. Perhaps she envisaged I was out looking for a good time and had some open top car sat outside, overly throaty engine waiting to roar in sexy-time unison with a hungry cougar.
Nope, just a sad poor fortysomething oblivious to outward appearance trying to figure out milk.
ho hum.
- Wait, you're forty-something? So the "cougar" flirting with you is over 50? lol get some granny action.NBQ00
- You should have asked her how her HRT is going..shapesalad

It's funny when you're on top of the world and super busy they all want you. But when you're available and really need work they reject you. Even average, crappy jobs & clients.
It's a strange world. When you show weakness & are needy they don't want you no matter how talented you are.

The dog turned on the TV to watch some MMA. I see the naked man. He's in good shape. Very little body fat, decent muscle tone.
It makes me want to go outside and have better muscle tone. I want to be the naked man.

Good God... is it too much to ask 'You' to start a new fucking email if it's about a new project (and title it appropriately so I can find it 3 weeks from now when you're actually ready to discuss it)? Anyone in here collect or know someone who collect hockey trading cards? My bro won an extremely rare Conor McDavid card, you get a code to get a personlized signed card, there's only 5 in the world. Let me know if interested, he's trying to sell it on eBay.
