tried to date my really hot good friend of six years and it crashed and burned after 8 weeks of having a lot of fun because:
1. she's unwilling to put any effort into it and wonders why 'nothing has really happened'
2. she's doesn't accept a couple of flaws and believes she 'shouldn't need patience!'
3. unforgiving of trivial mistakes I've made in the past and pulls them out randomly as fire power against me.
4. oh and then admits that she 'still doesn't believe it could ever work out between us'
So then she treats me like I'm asking too much because I want someone who is willing to put effort into it, be patient, accepting and forgiving in a relationship. Oh and I'd prefer to date someone who actually believes in it all. And after all of that she questions my ability to date people.
the kicker is I told another girl yesterday morning that "sorry i'm happily dating someone" and then I discover all of this last night.
geesh. time for a beer. other than that things are fucking great. new job, lots of creativity and collaboration, $$ and i'm looking foward to saving and being single.
