This is almost the opposite of signs you’re getting old but my kids are into some cool music like actually decent underground house, hip hop and grime / uk bass.
They like some awful autotune cheeseball stuff as well but it’s amazing that we can relate and chat about music at all when I think of what my folks think of my taste.
- Daugthers: youngest, into 80s 90s cool (for me) music, oldest; into actual trap, rap and shitty pop music. But, music is part of their life, which is fantastic!OBBTKN

Discord is a strange concept. The original use (live communication between gamers) makes complete sense. Then they made it a wider community covering every conceivable topic. They basically made Discord Reddit-like. But not as a forum with posts and replies, but as a continuous chat.
I see how it's very relevant for smaller closed communities, but as a general tool for discussion in an open server with thousands of people continuously adding comments in an endless linear stream, I struggle to find it useful. I find it stressfull too, tbh.
Am i missing the point? What do you use it for?

I did a pub quiz in Broughty Ferry this week with 3 x 80+ year olds and... WE WON! money, booze and the glow of beating 20 other teams of 4. I was their go to guy for music/films/general knowledge etc, so basically I answered most of the 100 questions, lol
