would like to go for some new series, apart from mainstream Game of Thrones, Vikings or Boardwalk Empire which will go on and on and on though, i would like to go for something shorter and cool...something like Pillars of the Earth for example...
some tv thing of less than 10 episodes, and without million seasons...suggest some stuff? any genre is ok

This was good also, but only 3 episodes. Though 2nd extended season for 2014 already confirmed.
UK shows gete small budgets hence the small first season to trial it out.
