The whole shabang (except the writing). Been working on it for a few months, just me, so the site design is more of a "nudge it into a shape over time" deal than it is more of an intentional design process with typical UX artifacts. It's rough but functional.

If you write about the future, hit me up I'm looking for nonfiction as much as I am fiction....

    • An idea: add next prev story to each "article" so a user can go to the next one quickgrafician
    • But solid website, nice effort!
Stories not too bad, the type of stuff to read in the metro

    • I have that at the bottom, but at the top would be useful, yes. Thanks for the feedback!cannonball1978

    One door closes, another opens.

The final project I worked on as a Studio Assistant at Staab Studios has officially opened in New Jersey—and the building looks incredible. Staab Studios was responsible for many of the models throughout the space. For about two and a half years, I had the opportunity to contribute to the fabrication of the pieces—molding, casting, and building some of the larger elements. Unfortunately, progress was slowed by COVID, construction delays, and funding setbacks. As resources dwindled, the owner could no longer sustain a six-person team, and I had to step away. Saying goodbye was tough—it was a meaningful chapter, and walking away wasn’t easy. However, I did hear about another place...

In Kansas City, a Children’s Literature Museum called The Rabbit Hole was under construction—a whimsical world brought to life with playful forced perspective and a flat, 2D aesthetic inspired by classic book illustrations. I applied, and soon after, I was hired as a Sculptor and General Fabricator. Everything is built in-house, and one of the most rewarding parts of the job is hearing guests move through the space—laughing, talking, completely immersed. Fuel for the soul.

Design direction they didn’t go for is in purple.
I was just happy they didn't throw away the typeface.

I did a benchmark exercise evaluating the logos and overall look of the party homepage. I did not focused on posters but here are the overall results. (sorry the report is in French)

This is an experiment of a rating system app I am using as a designer to compare the styles of competing logos and, of course, since I am the only one rating these logos, I do not claim this to be a general point of view. I have tried to be as objective as possible and I am not going to vote for the one that got the most points.

Made a lot of paper models recently. This is a new one, for a big Dutch brand.

I’ve been putting more energy into an international breakthrough lately, so who knows what the future might bring :)

The gun one is a 5 color screen print. The other two were mixed media. They were a small run so I got lazy and used colored paper and the black is mylar sitting on 18x18" plywood.
