I got an SMS from my broadband company and I normally just delete them as they usually contain balls about TV packages that I have no interest in. But this time it said I could upgrade my internet package, keeping the same price for the next two years with only a slight cost increase after that.
So with a couple of clicks I jumped from 100/10 to 250/10.

was in the freshmarket for lunch, and as i was leaving the lot, an old man backs out of his parking spot and rams into my car. he said he didnt bother to check the mirrors or even turn around to see if it was clear. he gave me his insurance and i took a photo of his drivers license and insurance and registration. everyone in the lot saw it and gave me their numbers and they all said it was 100% his fault which he also affirmed that he was in in the wrong. im so in a low funk now.

my lovely partner and i were curled up watching tv the other night and the subject of Lemon Party popped in from some programme, to which she asked "dear love of mine heart, wtf is 'lemon party'?". The beginnings of a smile wrinkled my face and i encouraged her to Google it, which she did.
Problem is, now Google has loads of responses for the search term and she didn't click the first link, so the effect was lost a bit in some descriptor site.
So I suggested she go for Google Images, and as she did so I began — in my boring infra-red asperger bloke's way — to tell her about a time, many years ago, when I printed out a load of flyers in a pseudo-political form, encouraging people embittered or soured by politics to visit a certain website.
I stuck a few handfuls of these up around North London and then went about my way, amused by it but not seeing any consequence.
The Google Image results spilled down the screen and.. holy fucking shit.
In the first half of results are now not only photos my flyer, but a couple of knock-offs too.
After all these years on the internet, I have finally made it. I have a hook!

- Preview does some crazy cool shit. Try opening an image with the wrong file extension in the filename, then save it. Preview will fix the improper extension.evilpeacock
