In the news over here : (Google translated from french to english)
''There is some evidence that nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as the drug Advil, have contributed to the worsening of the disease. Donald Vinh takes them with a grain of salt. "These data are very preliminary, the link between ibuprofen and the disease is not biologically proven. The risk factor established is only based on case observations. The pandemic is still new and we will have to wait for data analyzes to see more clearly.''
- "incorrect informations"
Bennn, please, let's stick to hard facts and not the rumours. We don't really need those as sometimes they are harmful.monospaced - If even the reporting doctor says to "take them with a grain of salt" you really should, or just refrain from posting completely. Thanks. Respect.monospaced

A interesting article about the spread in South Korea, how they did everything right to contain the first 30 cases, track down those they had been in contact with and quarantine them.
Then case nr. 31 appeared, a woman decided not to go to the doctor but instead: goes to a club,to church twice, visit a hotel eat at a buffet and visit a public clinic. She caused 2 clusters and was therefor involved in 80% of the outbreak.
- posted a couple days back, the story gets weirder! https://www.qbn.com/…kingsteven

U.S. Coronavirus (COVID-19) Projections, SOS Alert
• 96 million Coronavirus infections
• 480,000+ deaths
• 5 out of 100 will need hospitalization
• 5 million+ hospital admissions
• 2 million+ ICU care (50% will ventilators)Dr. Lawler recently presented his own “best guess” projections to American hospital and health system executives at a private webinar convened by the American Hospital Association. He estimated that some 96 million people in the United States would be infected. Five out of every hundred would need hospitalization, which would mean close to five million hospital admissions, nearly two million of those patients requiring intensive care and about half of those needing the support of ventilators.
Dr. Lawler’s calculations suggested 480,000 deaths, which he said was conservative. By contrast, about 20,000 to 50,000 people have died from flu-related illnesses this season, according to the C.D.C. Unlike with seasonal influenza, the entire population is thought to be susceptible to the new coronavirus.
- Well the us is the grasshopper in the story, while the ants busily prepare and take measures for the future, their leader is fiddling away saying all is good_niko
- Slowing the spread (flatten the curve) will reduce deaths but make the outbreak last longer, which means the vast majority will have all sorts of other damages********
