- I've tried twice now, and it just feels too juvenile for my 45y/o brain.Projectile

Oldie but a goodie.
Such a fucking shame that real life conspiracy wackadoos had the creators go "eh.. well there's no point in going on with this, is there?"
- Yes. And particularly so in the wake of the crap Amazon remake.MrT
- Ugh, don't get me started. They also heavily censored the original on their own streaming service.garbage
- Blimey, what was left of it?
But cheers, I'm going to rewatch!MrT - I can't remember all of it, but they cut the scene of the boy in the comic shop. And the school scene, but I think there were more.garbage
- It was heavily sanitized. Somebody on YT had a hour's long breakdown on it, but I can't find it atm.garbage
- It really is such a shame, because basically Alex Jones recommended the show and the creators were like "nah we're done".garbage
- Can't blame them. That fat fuck ruins everything.garbage
- Incredibly good and disturbing show!HAYZ1LLLA

I'm sure someone's posted this already, but i really enjoyed the first 3 episodes of this. Not sure where it's going, but intrigued to find out what's going on.

- Yeah. This is a good one. Also have no idea where it’s going. “Hopper’s” dancing and concert rapping got serious giggles from mehardhat

I'm not really recommending anything, but this is the only TV thread I could think of here to post this in.
I've just accidentally had a mystery that's bothered me for nearly forty years solved, just doing my daily mindless facebook browse.
I watched something on TV when i was very wee which always really stuck with me, but every time i've tried to find it as an adult I've come up a blank. I *had* thought it was from Tales of the Unexpected, and once trawled thorugh the entire archive, to no avail.
Turns out, it was an apparently-beloved Hammer House of Horror epsiode called "Silent Scream".
I've always had a very vivid memory of a couple stuck down a shaft with a door open to the world that if they tried to get through would kill them. Cheery, I know, and I'm further wondering why the fuck my mother would let me watch that sort of thing in the first place (I mean, I did watch The Poltergheist and The Hand with her when I was seven or so, so it's not like she much gave a fuck...).
Anyway, here it is. Mystery solved:
- Video unavailable for me buddy. We both live in the UK though yeah?Ianbolton

- Poltergeist at 7!canoe
- Ha. Thanks Piet. I'm now trying to find an episode of (maybe) Tales of the Unexpected in which a kid could look at photos and bring them to life.Ianbolton
- It's burned into my brain from such a young age. Good work pursuing your aging memories and finding clarity though, Piet!Ianbolton
