I haven't watched this yet, but as a Latin American who grew watching Chespirito, this trailer is exciting.

- yep, typical yank feel good slush, if you can put up owen wilson's schtick, which i can't.hans_glib
- ^ Owen Wilson has always been a deal-breaker for me.CyBrainX
- oh that dude - Owen Wilson - nasally /whistle - pseudo intellectual nonsense - ugh - cant stand him_me_
- Love it. I worked on a golf feature film script about a similar dynamic and bailed on it. Glad about that cos this is too close. But i like it and it.shellie
- Also apparently the kid didn’t play before this and his swing is technically decent. Of course they are ball correcting in bost but still. Most ppl have...shellie
- ... an ugly swing, even if they have a llw handicap.shellie
- It's great, easy to consume, and for some reason I enjoy Marc Maron's grumpy delivery, a comedic curmudgeonprophetone
- I do love a grump, he's on the turn though... he's crackin :)robthelad
- Loved it and the ending was decent too. Good jaarbPhanLo
- Really loved this series and Marc Maron made it for me. And it's ridiculousness. I hate don't like golf, but that kid was some golfer!Ianbolton

Finished this last night. Loved how ridiculous it was and although very few of the characters are actually likeable, i did actually like the shit they go through.
- Couldn't go past the first 10 min between JH's lazily written voice over and the over-the-top bar encounter dialogue.
Sounds like it's intentionally cringe ?spl33nidoru - watch the first two episodes.sted
- it's meant to be ridiculous. Don't take it soooooo serious!Ianbolton
- really liked it too. Hamm's great_niko
- Can't really get down with Hamm, what with the whole "set somebody on fire, dragged them around by the balls with a claw hammer and beat them..garbage
- ..to the point of kidney damage" thing.garbage
- his pal barney was awesomewoowahesque

- Cheers Rob. The proper ending news is music to my ears. I was thinking at the end of series 3 - this better end soon - but I am enjoying it. It's creepy AFIanbolton
- Season 1 was great. After that it meanders a lot. Hoping next season has more pay offs.ETM

- I was looking forward to the show... but it didn't work for me.
Timothy Olyphant channelling Roy Batty was the sci-fi cross over I didn't see coming.webazoot - Loved the first two episodes.Akagiyama
- Knowing it's from the guy who made LEGION helps. I'm really enjoying it. Great nods to Alien(s). Fun expanding the world a little toomisterhow
- is it the kind of series where the characters are talking about their childhood for the 3/4 of every episodes?HAL9001

I don't care how common time travel is, it always works.
This one looks like a combination of Ground Hog's Day and Star Trek's Assignment Earth episode with Gary Seven.

I'm a big Dune fan and the HBO show was pretty good but not wow. I'd love to watch similar shows. Foundation is on my list and is what I think I'll watch next. Any good sci-fi recs besides that?
- Foundation +1
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds
Andorgrafician - Also
Silo
Fallout
The last of us
Murderbotgrafician - Foundation is fantastic. They were also my favorite novels of all time. Strange New Worlds will either be the best shit you ever saw or the worst.CyBrainX
- ...depending on the episode. Silo is fantastic. I still miss Andor. Invasion is great. Season 3 just started but I haven't started it yet.CyBrainX
- I'm looking to start Invasion nowgrafician
- Of All the SciFi shows i've watch recently The Expanse has stood out a mile. Foundation is OK, I liked Silo and Invasion is OKish.Morning_star
- The Expanse was great. There was no excuse for ending it with other novels still not covered.CyBrainX
- Ok some good stuff there. I'll check them out. Thx folkspseud

As a Cronemberg and Dead Ringers fan I was surprised to recently find out it was made into a series. I've watched two episodes and I'm terribly disappointed. I went in thinking that the gender swap was a perfect fit for the story. The movie is claustrophobic, nuanced, perverse, perfect. The series feels like it wants to be Succession in scrubs. I later found out that one of the writers wrote for Succession. Instead of the suffocating intimacy between the twins, we get performative "look at me twins" and endless money-talk satire. The series seems to be trying to cover too many bases in an attempt to seem deep and ends up being shallow. There were a lot of crevices to explore in the movie that were missed in the series.
- Is the series called Dead Ringers? I could never really be arsed with Succession for exactly those reasons.Ianbolton
- Heathen!
Yes, the series is called Dead Ringers (2023).palimpsest - Cronemberg is unsettling, Succession is corrosive, the series is cringe.palimpsest
- Started succession a few times and only ever made it to episode 4 or 5. I’d rather watch some weird, unsettling Cronenberg shit all day long.Ianbolton
- Hmm love the original film, but might rewatch Nip/Tuck instead of this...MrT

with so much good tv to watch, my wife and I have decided to rewatch the entire series of ER after watch The Pitt and remembering Noah Wiley on ER..
its ok, but the thing that I love is watching all the mid to late 90's references to things.. the internet being blamed for society falling apart, flip phones.. AIDS is a huge topic..
its like this little time capsule..
feel old
- oh the backlash against HMO's and its affect on hospitals.. or how they doctor interns are paid like $20k a year..autoflavour
