Here's the thing: If you are soulmates, everything will be fine. I'm dealing with this with my girl right now also. Yeah, it sucks to be apart, but every time I think of the love, I know it's worth it and that we can make it. The bottom line is that I'd much rather go through an ordeal like this with my soulmate than to have a relationship of convenience with anyone else.
Plus, there's Skype and cheap international calling plans. When you think about it, we have it a lot easier today than people in our situation did in the past.

yeah i dunno why i was asking qbn, but my instincts are all over the place since this weekend... i may or may not book a flight tomorrow. just thought the soon part would be more about, she isnt settled yet, first week of work etc etc. but it is on friday so think it would be cool.
