Personally I love the new tier of storyline and mystery with the flash-forwards. And I love that getting off the island is actually a step in the wrong direction.
The downside of the premiere: Not enough story and stuff. Useless scenes and exposition.
The upside of the premiere: The Chinese takeout food we ordered was so good. I really like that place.

Does anybody know the website where you can view the seating chart of flight 815??

surely it's on lostpedia?

It was really nauseating to watch Hurley in the flash forwards last night, that combo of gritty, gigantic half beard and red rash underneath that looked like razor burn. Really sick.

i just saw those 13 missing episodes via lostpedia. good stuff.

haha, yeah, mg, Hurley's not appealing at all. Except for his unique (compared to everyone else on the island) personality, I guess.
Hurley's all about doing the right thing, so I'm guessing that Locke does something for the greater good (with his side of the team), while Jack and everyone else starts to suspect that the people who came from the helicopter(s) are not who they say they are.
Jack really annoys me (like how he was going to kill Locke, whereas it was more uncertain whether or not Locke was going to hurt Jack). However, if you look at the situation honestly, it's quite difficult to determine what side you would choose if you were in their shoes, stuck on a weirdo island for a while. I like Locke more than I like Jack, but Locke never explains what the hell he's doing and why he's doing it.
This show is going to last too long, but at least the seasons will be cut short, I guess. It sucks that we have to wait so long for answers. There are some amazing writers who are a part of the "Lost" team this season, so it has the potential to be better than the previous season (which was considerably better than shitty season 2).

Whats up with the new Ghostbuster?

Great episode (featuring Kate).
SPOILERS!
This is getting even more messed up than before. So Aaron is Kate's kid in the future. Some possibilities: he is really hers (I vaguely remember something about how Kate could've been pregnant before or how "the others" (particularly Juliet) were trying to find all the pregnant women on the island). Or perhaps something happens to Claire and Kate has to take care of Aaron. Either way, he is Jack's nephew and I wonder if one of the reasons as to why he doesn't want to see the child is because he finds out how Claire is related to him, and something horrible happens to her, thus making him too emotional (as usual) to have any connection with the child.

Or maybe she just names him after Aaron because something else happens on the island.
Technically, Aaron doesn't have to be part of the "Oceanic 6".
Others, such as Desmond and Juliet, were not on the flight, yet still could've gotten off the island.
What a conundrum ;)

Is Kate hot? I can't decide.
- Jaline0
She is, if you base everything on looks. Evangeline Lilly is awesome in interviews too.
Not sure about the character of Kate though. She can kick ass, but at the same time there is something annoying about her. Perhaps it's her interest in Jack. I can't pinpoint it.

they have a nice little lie memorized about how only a handful of people survived the crash. my guess is they abandoned the other forty-some-odd people (or however many are left) who are still on the island waiting to get rescued. jack and hurley have said "we have to go back" at different points in the show. i think they're feeling guilty.

There is definitely something weird about the "Oceanic 6" factor that everyone keeps talking about. Hurley talked about how he shouldn't have followed Locke. Maybe the others were left behind on the island, or they died, etc. Either way, I guess the writers have to make it appear like everyone still holds grudges from the island (like when Hurley left Jack to follow Locke) in order for the audience to understand and connect with everything that is going on. Since the show is so complicated already, without that extra layer of having future scenes.

haha, she called the baby, "Aaron".
I'm guessing it was a boy (looked like it, to me).
Some possibilities:
(1) the baby is hers and always has been
(2) Aaron from the island died and she named her baby after him
(3) She took the baby
(4) Something happened to Claire and she ended up taking the baby, or taking care of him. I'm not sure Claire would would ever leave her baby, unless there was some danger to his life. But you never know with this show.As I noted before, I think Jack doesn't want to get to know the baby (yet) in the future because he's too emotional about his relationship with him. It could be that he is the father (if the baby is actually Kate's), or that someone else he hates is the father. Really though, I think it's because he is Aaron's uncle and something could've happened to Claire (and he doesn't want to be reminded of her). That is, assuming he knew how Claire was his half-sister. There are so many possibilities.

So many new questions. So, when will we find out what the island is? 2010?
- ender790
sometimes it seems that the writers made it too complicated even for themselves. i get the feeling that they're spinning too many plates. the same thing happened with alias, which jj abrams was also created. i'm all for complex, intriguing story lines, but sometimes too complex turns to crap.
- Jaline0
Apparently they have it all figured out. I'm guessing they have the basic island story down, but all the character stuff is made up each time they write something, since different writers are responsible for different characters (I believe). I hope the series ending actually answers most of the questions. Normally I wouldn't mind an ending that leads to more questions, but we've had (and are continuing to have) too much of that on "Lost" already.
