Great episode (featuring Kate).
SPOILERS!
This is getting even more messed up than before. So Aaron is Kate's kid in the future. Some possibilities: he is really hers (I vaguely remember something about how Kate could've been pregnant before or how "the others" (particularly Juliet) were trying to find all the pregnant women on the island). Or perhaps something happens to Claire and Kate has to take care of Aaron. Either way, he is Jack's nephew and I wonder if one of the reasons as to why he doesn't want to see the child is because he finds out how Claire is related to him, and something horrible happens to her, thus making him too emotional (as usual) to have any connection with the child.
