had to read 5 minutes to find already something i have issues with.
it's part of this social discrimination phobia that exists in most of Europe.

All good and ok but this also means that a person diagnosed by psychologists as a pedophile but who didn't commit any related crime yet can't be refused from working with children neither does the psychologist have to inform authorities.

I like the US capitalism, for its effectiveness, but it comes bundled with a police state which is a huge minus. I don't see as much personal freedom in the US as there's said to be.I believe the EU constitution's main goal is to give the burreaucrats more control over us. You can be extradited to another country from yours under this constitution. This is one of tiny steps giving the beaurocrats enormous power. The constitution is a move towards creating a superstate, but it comes with french-style socialism (Art II 87-94), not US capitalism. I wouldn't be surprised if because of that EU economically went down (Lisbon Strategy's been already called off), and was eventually deserted by level-headed nations which wouldn't want to pay for this.

sure it's a silly extreme example but important laws like that should be more complex, this is written from a populistic standpoint

The only reason Vlaams Blok is against EU constitution is because the other local parties are for it and their strategy is being anti and pointing fingers.

i hear you. but you can never formulate a law to provide for this matter. how on earth would you do that?
there's also an article in the constitution about diplomatic immunity which i really don't like. remember pinochet and the likes...

I think Portugal is bent on a solid YES and the same question of influences have come up.
I have no opinion YET, i downloaded the E to read it but it's all in separate pdf's. to make it harder to read maybe ;)

vb, i believe the EU constituion is designed to get rid of that corruption and bureaucratic inefficiency. So if that is what's bothering you, you shud vote yes.
