OY shit! (x_x) yeah it was a bit confusing here for a while too. I got the hell out of NYC for that same reason, well that and no jobs and dirt everywhere. It's an acquired taste.

no, it has even been proven that some of the footage (esp. Palestinians) was archived material.
I wouldn't know which stupid press agency was behind that bit..
and secondly, a lot of people didn't exactly know what was going on there and what impact it could have on the world situation.

you remember all that bullshit ... i mean that nostradamus fellah' that date of the event you had to type in and convert the font to wingdings to see this anagram.
or these calculations of boarded passengers, flightnumbers all giving the same number 9 11what a bullshit but it scared me
- JazX0
yeah exactly I agree 100% all that BS was what was freaky, not it actually happening, you know people want to make a fast buck even when they can die. If you ask me this sort of terror happens everyday in other countries, people in a lot of pleaces are a bit too spoiled if you ask me. Travel around and you will see it in people's faces.

right on, BXCAR.
it was all bullshit, and some interpretation of Nostradamus that went around appeared to be a simple student-joke in hindsight.

so true, Jaz.

4cY, thanks for your patience reading that. there's no way to tell it briefly. :)

for the conscious heads out there. i woke up to the blast of the first plane. could see the towers from my apartment window. i was flippin out. i could not believe and still don't believe the official story. fighter jets from various posts in the US can intercept any suspicious aircraft in less than 10 minutes. the 9/11 planes were off course for over 40 minutes. and that's just the tip of the iceberg. i can still taste the asbestos and burning chemicals in my throat. and now, dubya bush is using 9/11 for his reelection - the motherfucker is shitting on the mass grave at ground zero tomorrow for all the wonderful cameras. i demand some truthful answers.

Everything has been prophesied. It will soon all come to an end.

Phist, I hate Bush as much as the next guy, but I don't think he staged 9/11. I also saw the WTC from my apt window. I just remembered this thing I did.

and here are my CDs:
If any of you ever get a chance to see the Ric Burns PBS NYC Documentary's final chapter, do it. It's 3 hours. The first two hours are fascinating. The last hour is brutally sad, but Ric Burns is the only person who I would let me relive those memories.
Here's a link to WTC's construction:
http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/amex/new…I truly believe the best way to heal from this is to REBUILD REBUILD REBUILD REBUILD REBUILD REBUILD REBUILD REBUILD REBUILD REBUILD REBUILD REBUILD REBUILD REBUILD REBUILD REBUILD REBUILD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jevad. liked that piece
It was one of the most recorded and widely experienced atrocities. I remember exactly where I was and how I felt. shock and awe.
But I feel the same when I see the effects of Oil wars in Iraq, civil wars in africa, and the effects of terrorism here in Ireland, the Middle East and elsewhere so I find it hard to make a special event of 9/11. to me a life lost to terrorism/war in New York is no less tragic than the loss of life in Liberia or elsewhere.
I do find it hard to not think that soldiers are simply terrorists with uniforms. Whether you use the most sophisticated weapons available or suicide bombing the sickening effect is the same.
I dont think you need a special day to remember those who have lost their lives to terrorism/war and those who continue to suffer and die every single day.
While you pray for those that lost their lives spare a moment for the millions who continue to live under threat from war.

I was in school walking to my second hour class and one of my teachers said to another teacher that a plane had hit one of the twin towers. i went to my class, which was spanish, and my teacher turned the tv on for about 5 mintues until class started. I really wanted to sit there all day and watch the news, but I had to go through my school day. After school I went home and watched the news broadcast all night.

recoil, you are only like 14 right? I dont mean any disrespect, I am just asking.
- nuggler0
We were having a hectic morning before school and had turned the tv on to occupy our 6-year old, something we very rarely would do. He was laughing about some planes crashing - my wife & i went in to see what he was watching and had to explain that it wasn't funny, it was real.

Not that the two events are directly related, but the US sponsored some terrorism on 9/11/73:
