A guy I know (A VC) was one of the seed funders for this French company Sorare - a digital fantasy soccer thing where you can trade all sorts of related digital bits and pieces...cards etc.
This was back when the company was valued in the low millions...it's now valued at $4.3bn after a recent round of fundraising!
