Can somebody explain how you can only get millions for NFTs if you only use ETH but not Tezos?
p.s. btw ETH is still not using proof of stake, but maybe next year right? Right?

- it's back https://hicetnunc.ar…fadein11
- Yes, like fadein says there's other versions, theres also objkt.com too. The works are on the blockchain so doesnt matter what platform you use.microkorg
- I will swap all to be hosted on objkt.com now I think.microkorg
- hicetnunc was always an odd platform, felt like someone's bedroom project.fadein11

objkt.com now supporting 'Collections'
so I made a little limited collection of outputs from the generative piece I created a few months back. The R&D that went into this work is part of a project that I hope will be much larger.
- Love this one. Looks like a collector who digs your work and bought it though. I bought #18 and #23. Great work.mandomafioso
- What does the signature in lower left say?mandomafioso
- The name I use is Nor44.
And the stamp is like the literal translation of 'nor' or 'not' . So its like 'not 44'
Kind of a play on words.microkorg - Yes and thanks. 8 sold now. 4tz is a crazy price for a 1/1. My last 1/1 (not this collection) sold for like 100tz.microkorg
- Yeah for 4tz I couldn't say no.mandomafioso
- Thank you so much for buying. I think you are my first collector from QBN!microkorg
- And I'll let you in on a little secret, I'm planning on doing a big airdrop to all my collectors very soon. Each will receive a 1/1.microkorg
- Ooo, stoked!mandomafioso

How NFTs Will Kill Netflix
The Balkanization of media will continue, until it doesn’t
- I said in a post earlier in thread suggesting you can buy a NFT (cinema ticket) for a film which would then allow you to watch it free for life on any platform.microkorg
- Visionary.palimpsest
- As I've also said in a post, film rights prevent them from being viewed on "any" platform. This a commercial & legal issue, not a tech one. NFTs solve nothing.palimpsest
- https://www.qbn.com/…palimpsest
- any plattform... sure... thats sound so naive its hard to take.neverscared
- NFTs ain't shit. Even a behemoth like Disney is not allowed to stream Star Wars IX due to EU law or Iron Man due to previous contracts.palimpsest
- What if film makers going forward choose not to tie themselves into these restrictive traditional rights or contracts? Thats what article is about.microkorg
- It will take some balls to do this first, but if others follow then it'd really hurt existing platforms based on traditional contract methods.microkorg
- Films need more financing before creating them so film is a particular case where this would be harder to work. Kickstarter makes more sense to me.palimpsest
- @palimpsest as someone very close to actual, real, film financing and financiers, you have no idea what you're talking about.shellie
- Also, yes, legacy contracts are a problem. I worked at Sony Music in 2001-2003 and yes, it was a problem then with emerging media as well.shellie
- And, film and television stood by and watched music f*it up, and adapted quicker. I have conversations with financiers about this all the time. They're excited.shellie
- Eventually the music industry got it together but about 15 yrs too late to be in the drivers seat of change. Untold fortunes left on the table.shellie
- I for one, am very much looking forward to the swift changes in how entertainment will operate in the coming years.shellie
- @shellie
You have debunked every one of my points. I stand corrected.palimpsest - I can see film-buff whales chipping in and funding NFT movies going forward. So yes crowdfunding like you suggested Palimpsest but less investors ;)microkorg
- I have no idea of what I'm talking about.

I see job posts for "create my NFTs".
I've never looked into NFTs besides the here-there headline, but wouldn't the person that creates the art, just make their own NFTs?
Is there some find of hefty price tag to 'register' them?
- "What' that?"

Miramax sues Quentin Tarantino over Pulp Fiction NFTs
Say NFT again, I dare you
Production company Miramax has sued director Quentin Tarantino over his non-fungible token or NFT collection based on Pulp Fiction. The lawsuit, filed yesterday in California court and noted online by attorney Mark Jaffe, says NFTs don’t fall under Tarantino’s reserved rights for the film. Miramax accuses him of violating the company’s copyright and trademark, and it’s demanding a halt to the upcoming sale

$131,000
Average NFT sale price on November 12, according to The Block — an all-time high. But the news wasn’t all good — the total number of art and collectible NFTs (not including gaming) recorded last week fell to 86,870 — around three times less than in October.- not sure what this means. surely most people making NFT's are making a few bucks no? maybe a handful are raking it in but $131k average seems insane._niko

Another new piece minted on KnownOrigin
https://knownorigin.io/gallery/4…And there's a new platform in town that is for selling generative NFTs. Hopefully going to try creating something over the weekend and if I can get it working on their platform then mint it.

- Thanks Antimotion.
Neverscared, not sure what your question is regarding. I think the majority that have bought my work are other artists.microkorg - ...from both the traditional and nft art world. A number of female collectors, one an ex lawyer turned art collector. I don't think any Ape bro's have bought.microkorg

This long article explains technical and economic details to explain both why NFTs are bad, why they don’t work (they don’t do what they claim to do), and explains the hype surrounding them.
