Wanted to create a video for social media, really simple stuff, cut, edit, intro, outro. Spent 4 hours on After Effects' convoluted interface and saved versions. They are all corrupt. AE can't open those files, crashes and warns me about cache even though half my drive is available.
Bought Capcut for 10 bucks a month. In half an hour my video is ready with fucking tons more AI powered options.
Really fuck Adobe, I'm gonna pull the plug on suite.
Do you know if we can still use AI generation if we have cracked PS?

I'm sure this has been mentioned by others many times already but I just can't load fonts after restarting Illustrator, restarting the computer, rechecking the site to make sure the font is loaded.

- Turn off fonts inside the CC desktop app, restart the app then turn fonts back on - usually resolves Adobe font issues for me. And sooo convenient!MrT

Jan this year, was paying $16 a month for photoshop by itself.. Then they bumped it to $24 and I was like fuck off and unsubscribed
just went back to resubscribe just for photoshop and fuckers increased the price to $59 a month.

So, Adobe's A.I. just tried to charge me over 900 USD / year for their suite... Fuck that... I switched to monthly to give myself time to learn affinity. While getting prepped, I found this website: https://markzware.com for file conversions. It's not pretty, but they seem to have their bases covered for converting InDesign files to idml.. I thought this might be helpful for any of y'all.

Found Pixelmator Pro by Apple and it's great. It seems to have and simplify all the features for day to day work that photoshop has, but with less technicalities. I'm not sure if it'll feel good making really creative artwork, but it does make a lot of work horse stuff easy.

Open InDesign fresh... get this modal and do not want to partake... I click never show again and SUBMIT button doesn't activate... wait what... so you can only click CANCEL but ux gods would argue CANCEL just closes window with no interactions recorded, even the 'no thanks'.
