Loved episodes 1 & 6, especially 6. The rest were just pretty good.

season 4 is good, but to be honest it seems to be all reworking the same concepts .. small plugs in your head, things happen.

unexceptional
- This season, or in general?jagara
- this seasonpablo28
- seeing as how the rest is awesome, this being "unexceptional" would mean it is also awesome. un-excepted from the general trend ;)sarahfailin

What do you suppose was the symbolism of the wrapped peppermint candy that appeared in a few episodes?
- I didn’t pick up on that. I only noticed it metalheadthumb_screws
- Oh shit it was in crocodile too, just remembered.thumb_screws
- yeah, also, in black museum, part of the exhibition are pieces from previous episodes.renderedred
- Yeah noticed that straight away. This season felt like it all could of been in the same universe apart from metal head.thumb_screws
- Peppermint helps with memory recall, so it made sense in Crocodile.i_monk

Just binged the new season. Watch them in any order apart from black museum, save that for last. You’ll know why when you watch it.
Felt there was a common thread through them all this season apart from the metal head ep.
- Oops. I watched Black Museum second. I thought something was a bit off. Still enjoyed it though.desmo

this season is all over the map but the callister and metalhead episodes are top fucking notch.
- renderedred2
1 USS Callister - 7/10 a bit too obvious for me. Entertaining tho...
2 Arkangel - 8/10 great story, Jodi Foster did a great job.
3 Crocodile - 6/10 Great photography and music, impeccable acting but the ending just ruined it for me. It's a pity to ruin a great episode with such a forced ending.
4 Hang The DJ - a strong 8/10. Really good!
5 Metalhead - An easy 9/10. Best so far.I saved Black Museum for today since I heard it's great...
- Loved the design of the dogs in metal head.thumb_screws
- yup! nice cgi work too.renderedred

San Junipero was incredible, that will be hard to top.
- I'm hearing last ep of this new season is qualityernexbcn
- ep. 7/10, to obvious for my taste...renderedred
- ep 1 i mean...renderedred
- It was alright for me. I felt others were superior to San Junipero. I tend to find them all very engaging, well written and acted, and thought provoking.monospaced
- Hang the DJ had similar themes and toneRamanisky2
- Everyone loves this one because it's happy and politically correct. It's not the best or most thought provoking by far though.freedom

I've not watched any of this series, but I'm looking for something new to watch on Netflix that I can download to my phone and watch to/from work on the train. Should I give Black Mirror a shot, or get back to Narcos? Or another series? I just finished Mindhunter, which I loved. Can't watch Ozark, Stranger Things season 2, or Bloodline 3rd season because my wife and I watch those.
- Black Mirror is superb, what a treat having never seen any of it. Enjoy.fadein11
- yes, perfect series to watch as each episode is a separate story.spl33nidoru

- wow, I envy you mg33Ramanisky2
- Enjoy!monospaced
- Alright, cool, going to download the first episode. The show is about aliens right?mg33
- aliens and pigs .. indeedRamanisky2
- one of the best series ever created.lvl_13
- Narcos, definitelyMaaku
- If you can, try and watch the original UK ones first. Leave 'San Junipero' to towards the end so that you can appreciate its context a bit better.detritus
- Some episodes are, to good effect, gut-wrenchingly horrible. Great TV and concept, but can leave you feeling a bit hollow afterwards.detritus
- Peaky Blinders is worth a watch.stoplying
- DOWNLOAD NOW MAN!Bennn
- episodes aren't related, they're about all kinds of things, specifically how technology is changing societymonospaced
- The first episode of the first season isn't the best way to start the series imo. It's very...peculiar :DGRAC
- I mean all of them are but this one got mixed reviews. You may not like it.GRAC
- I watched the S1E1 only after finishing S2. I agree, put that one off for awhile.monospaced
- first episode does have the whole social media will fuck your shit up quick.Ramanisky2
- modern twilight zonejaylarson
- Skip pilot and go straight to episode 2 lolsea_sea
- Actually there are no aliens. It's a modern Twilight Zone type show (anthology of individual stories) about social media and technologyyuekit
- I actually liked the first episode. Pretty crazy to imagine terrorists actually using something so humiliating as a tactic.mg33
- see I like the first ep as well ... very darkRamanisky2
- ^ that's what I liked about it: dark, malicious, believable, and the public fascination with the event, cheering it on, was spot onmg33
- for how many in modern society would celebrate it. Not unlike people shouting "World Star" filming people getting beaten upmg33
- rather than intervening. I mean, not that anyone in public could intervene in a PM screwing a pig, but the celebration of something so vile and cruelmg33
- was a perfect example of things that happen 24/7.mg33
- yup!monospaced
