I've not watched any of this series, but I'm looking for something new to watch on Netflix that I can download to my phone and watch to/from work on the train. Should I give Black Mirror a shot, or get back to Narcos? Or another series? I just finished Mindhunter, which I loved. Can't watch Ozark, Stranger Things season 2, or Bloodline 3rd season because my wife and I watch those.

    • Black Mirror is superb, what a treat having never seen any of it. Enjoy.fadein11
    • yes, perfect series to watch as each episode is a separate story.spl33nidoru

    • Alright, cool, going to download the first episode. The show is about aliens right?mg33
    • aliens and pigs .. indeedRamanisky2
    • one of the best series ever created.lvl_13
    • Narcos, definitelyMaaku
    • If you can, try and watch the original UK ones first. Leave 'San Junipero' to towards the end so that you can appreciate its context a bit better.detritus
    • Some episodes are, to good effect, gut-wrenchingly horrible. Great TV and concept, but can leave you feeling a bit hollow afterwards.detritus
    • Peaky Blinders is worth a watch.stoplying
    • DOWNLOAD NOW MAN!Bennn
    • episodes aren't related, they're about all kinds of things, specifically how technology is changing societymonospaced
    • The first episode of the first season isn't the best way to start the series imo. It's very...peculiar :DGRAC
    • I mean all of them are but this one got mixed reviews. You may not like it.GRAC
    • I watched the S1E1 only after finishing S2. I agree, put that one off for awhile.monospaced
    • first episode does have the whole social media will fuck your shit up quick.Ramanisky2
    • modern twilight zonejaylarson
    • Skip pilot and go straight to episode 2 lolsea_sea
    • Actually there are no aliens. It's a modern Twilight Zone type show (anthology of individual stories) about social media and technologyyuekit
    • I actually liked the first episode. Pretty crazy to imagine terrorists actually using something so humiliating as a tactic.mg33
    • see I like the first ep as well ... very darkRamanisky2
    • ^ that's what I liked about it: dark, malicious, believable, and the public fascination with the event, cheering it on, was spot onmg33
    • for how many in modern society would celebrate it. Not unlike people shouting "World Star" filming people getting beaten upmg33
    • rather than intervening. I mean, not that anyone in public could intervene in a PM screwing a pig, but the celebration of something so vile and cruelmg33
    • was a perfect example of things that happen 24/7.mg33
    • yup!monospaced
