"Damn good? Really? This idea has been done to death." – Frosty_spl
Originality isn't the only criterion for good, and being completely original is impossible anyway. Familiarity and continuity works in its favour here, as it evokes a known symbol for peace and freedom, and is gender- and culturally neutral.
LEO74: The equal sign belongs to a campaign only concerned with LGBT rights.

"There is no globally recognized logo for human rights"
umm...
Or do they mean a logo for the general concept of human rights? That's like saying the is no globally recognised logo for poverty. Of course there isn't nor does there need to be. But there's plenty of organisations (with identities) that try to fight it.
- that said, you reminded me of this http://www.ica.coop/…logi
- Looking at the posters - do they think only black africans suffer from poverty?Nathan_Adams

"There is no globally recognized logo for human rights."
Is there a globally recognized symbol for *anything*? Even the peace and radiation symbols probably aren't recognized across large chunks of Africa and central Asia, or one is and not the other.

all of these "logos" make me want to harm people. this is doing nothing for human rights.
