Visualization of the contradictions in the Bible taken from The Scripture Project by Steve Wells (see the Projects section of http://www.reasonproject.org).
The bars that run along the bottom of the visualization represent the 1189 chapters in The Bible, with the length of each bar corresponding to the number of verses in each chapter. White bars represent the Old Testament and grey bars represent The New Testament. Each arc indicates a contradiction.

It wd be great if the cheerleaders and fanboys on either side of the 'debate' just let it go, this kind of stuff is redundant and tiresome.
So the Bible is full of contradictions, so what? It's also full of carnage, suffering, poetry and genuine yearning. You could find holes in any religion if you want to take everything that's ever been said about (or by) them literally. That's not the point (& I'm not religious btw)
If you read the Origin of Species it manages to contradict itself too — sometimes on the same page. Big deal, both it and the Bible, in their different ways, beautiful texts.

I'm an atheist (but not one of those who actually gives a shit and tries to convert people) but I find things like pointless, I mean it's my understanding that the bible is written by several people from different perspectives so there are bound to be contradictions.
Even things like this are not gonna sway anyone, so what's the fucking point. If you want to focus on the problem of religion then spend time trying to detach it from your fucking government.

They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.

Mr Sedaris, you should research about the almost 400 fulfilled prophecies. You should research about all scientific facts written on the bible many years before the science discovered them like the roundness of the earth, the composition of the human body, the stress, and many others.
